I live in tassie. but my parents live in taiwan.

yeah he is not a special friend either this was the first time i met him. (well properly i said gday when i saw him at dads work).

Americans are pretty dam generous when they come round for dinner, cause he gave me the drumstick and a tour tshirt from this year, and brought 2 bottles of wine for mum and dad, and the other guy who came brought a bottle of wine and 12 steaks!!!

I was in taipei on thursday last week and i went into this pub thing called Underground (i think) and it was really cool, they had a big screen playing some motley crue and all the walls were big painting of album covers


Some were, Judas Priest, Deep Purple - Burn, A king crimson one, Dream Theater - Images and Words, there were others but i cannot remember them.

there was this huge picture of Jim Morrison behind the bar

The food was great there and they had an awesome range of beers on tap.

I thought it was cool cause there is nothing like that in tassie, apparently there are live bands there at night and stuff.

Damn that was a quick slide outta the top 50 considering the way it started off. I havent switched on JJJ for weeks so have no idea....did life wasted get any airplay on the J's or any other station?

It' sell a bucnh around concert time but other than that its au reviour me thinks.

I personally wouldn't get personalised drumsticks with my NAME on it -- especially if I was the only drummer in the band....maybe a picture or a drawing or something like that but I very much doubt I'd have Susan Blahblah written on it.

But you're right, it does make it much more special for fans. Still seems a little weird though. But if I got one, I'd want his name on it so I could prove for the rest of my life that it REALLY IS Matt's drumstick!
