WOW. As Gennibean mentioned SYdney was a classice this morning. Never seen so many pissed idiots so early in the morning. And it didnt surprise me to see lots of people sleeping in Hyde Park still around 10am. Funny sight

A sporting moment not to be forgotten.

Yeah my girlfriend goes to the US next Thursday. She misses out on PJ everywhere she goes. When she leaves, PJ arrive. It happens in Vegas, LA and San Diego.
Very bad planning if I do say so myself.

It just boils down to bad management.
They should've announced the 2nd show after the 1st show sold out, not at the same time as the 1st show tickets went on sale.
Even though i've got tickets to the 3rd show, I do think that a 3rd show at the Superdome was the stupidest idea of 2006. It should've been at a smaller venue.
They could've generated a lot more buzz if they played at a small venue.
    Just imagine it:

"Pearl Jam - Live & Intimate" State Theatre xx November 2006

    How good would that've been

But she should make it in time for Storytellers.

Very, very good. A theatre gig with 10c tix would've been AMAZING, and a chance for the band to play more rarities in a 'warmer' venue with better acoustics.

    Hi All

What a great day to be Aussie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hard to explain the feeling inside that stadium last night, I dont think I have ever been more nervous and ecstatic at the same time. In between yelling "He fucken rugby tackled him!!!!!!!!" and "thats his third yellow!!" it was hard to pinpoint an exact emotion.

For starters, no one knew the final whistle had gone, the noise was that huge that you couldnt hear yourself think (or curse) but I wouldnt have swapped that night for the world.

The song chanting was top notch. To the tune of Go West came these gems from us aussies:

You're Shit, but your chicks are hot! and
    Your shirt, is a tablecloth!

    Hilarious!!!

and the favourite, to no particluar tune:

YOU'RE RED YOU'RE WHITE YOU'RE GOING HOME TONIGHT

Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, but know I fly home, couldnt get as much time off as I wanted to watch the Round of 16 onwards. But definately not complaining. Short term loan for a lifetime of memories.

So proud to be Australian today, but then again when aren't we?? (Thats a fucken ripper of a line in my opinion hehe)
Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.
