Has anyone been watching much of the Olympics? I watched some gymnastics last night and the Chinese girls were amazing. They're supposed to be 16 but one of them looked only about 8 years old.

IF Ed does come over here do you think we'll get some Australian specific songs because a large amount of people won't know what the fuck is going on when he starts to play songs such as Patriot, Millworker etc?

Oh yeah, Waltzing Matilda, I'd Love to Have a Beer with Duncan, Up There Cazaly and some old Rolf Harris and The Seekers tunes could be good. ;)

    Hmmmmmmm? Good question.

It depends, I guess.......if he's assuming attendees are hard core fans or just blow ins. If he assumes hard core fans, he probably wouldn't worry.....or, maybe he'd just leave them off the setlist all together??

I'd expect IF he does any solo gigs here, that he'd have Liam and EJ with him and maybe do some Split Enz, or even LF songs in place of Patriot etc.

OMG!!! I am laughing so hard atm....imagining Ed and his extra leg  and a wobble board and making those "oo ah ee ah" noises that Rolf does :D
    I reckon he'd give it a go, for a laugh, too....Ed's always up for a laugh :D

It's not as though we're supposed to know the songs he's playing on his US tour due to the stupid "no taping policy"

I hope you mean NF instead of LF because I'd be pissed to hear Liam Finn songs in Ed's set when Liam's already performed them as the support act :)

Well....I did mean LF but NF would be great too.
I know LF would be the support act, but he wouldn't do ALL of his songs, so could then do a couple that were missed, with Ed :) Maybe him an Ed could have a drum kit each and BOTH go mental :D

List of Australasian specific songs Ed could perform

    History Never Repeats
    Pub With No Beer
    TYAAM
    Eagle Rock
    April Sun In Cuba :)

This list is turning out to be "songs heard covered by bands when you go out in Newie"
All we need is Flame Trees and we're set
