Not sure what it stands for but they play live Pearl Jam all day. Been on it for a while now but Im starting to hear the same songs over again so think the database may not be the size I originally thought it was.

Ive been training my arse off the last few months partly for the City to Surf this weekend. I woke up yesterday and couldnt swallow, sore joints and a headache. Not much better today.

I havent had a friggin cold in 10 years and I get one this week!!!!!!!!! And Im flat sticks at work too. WICKED

AOL.. doesn't that stand for America Online?

Sounds like you have the flu.

Stuff the City to Surf. I'm gonna watch it on TV like I always do. :)

Yeah AIM is short for AOL Instant Messaging. I've got that installed plus ICQ, Yahoo Messenger, and MSN Messenger. Not sure why as I hardly use any of them. :)

After you listen for a while tell me if you start to hear the same songs

So far Corduroy (live), Habit, Why Go (live), No Ceiling from ITW ..

Don't want to listen for too long as I think those internet radio sites use a lot of bandwidth.

Ooooh, that AOL sounds alright...maybe it stands for Always On Laps...in reference to the continuous PJ?
Our radio stations rarely play PJ, if they do it's always something like Last Kiss or Jeremy

Oh, you're in the City To Surf? How many k's is that?
Pretty ironic that you're coming down with something NOW! Or are you just trying to get out of it? :D
I watched something on SBS the other night, about 10 people that were hand picked to train for the Boston marathon, and some were overweight and others were slim, old young etc and they were trting to find out if ANYONE could run the marathon if they trained or whether you had to have the genetics for it.

Always on Laps - quite good I like that.

Yep EK got it right further down. America OnLine.

City to Surf is 14km. And nope Im doing it no matter how I feel. Timing is just tragic.

    speaking of radio repeating songs.

what the fuck is with triple j playing the same song 3 times in one day. they are really starting to piss me off, they are becoming a commercial radio station just without the commercials.

the other day i heard one song, which can't remember what it was but it was a nova song. i was all, "if it's played on nova it shouldn't be played on triple j.

but in saying that my wife said she heard the new KOL song Sex On Fire on nova today.

also triple j play way too much rap these days, the aussie hip hop like the Herd, the hoods, bliss and eso, muph and platonic, drapht ect, i can handle but american gangsta rap type stuff?????

on bliss and eso how good is their song where they sample angus and julia stone?

I'm the same Fish, i feel cheated if a song is played on JJJ and i've already heard it on a commercial station.

To conform is TO DIE

It's either the commercial station trying to be all alternative, or JJJ to be more mainstream.

Either way, we only get two stations where I am and its JJJ and HotFM...no straight Rock station or anything.
At night they have Truck Radio (I ask you!!) and they basically play
    Nickelback and Kelly Clarkson....

hey, does anyone have a link to a good seller of PJ t-shirts and such?

I'm a bit nervous of getting one, incase it shrinks too much or stretches?

    Thanks :)
