you can't tell me you liked the country funk version of Bless My Soul???condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

I thought that was corny. I turned to Stu while that was playing and said that it felt like an Eagles concert
Highlights - The return of Mr Coghill's microphone, JC and Pockets
Disappointments - JC's fucked up "computer programme", slow songs being placed in the electric set, and the Eagles rendition of Bless My Soul
I was so disappointed with the lack of setlist imagination. At the end of the show I stood there with what must've been an extremely filthy look on my face because Stu told me to crack a smile, and then a woman who I didn't even know walked past me, looked at me, and told me to not look so angry
As usual the guys played a good show but I'm seriously thinking about giving them a miss on their next tour. It's been nearly 10 years since i've missed a Powderfinger tour but I think the time has come to stop paying $70 to hear My Happiness
Liam Finn on the other hand..............fucking AMAZING!!!!!0 -
As I promised you Stu, here's Paul Harragon's masterpiece of a song

...Oh I was sick and tired of waiting lost,
And you were mad at me for so much more,
I was bored listening to the same old chords...0 -

so happy bout that.
and yeah what was with berns bringing out the acoustic guitar during the electric set.
as i've said on the finger board the whole "fan vote" idea had soooooooo much potential but they fucked it big time and it turned in to the exact same set as i've been seeing the last 6 or 7 years.
the new suburban fables tour was thier last great tour.
some shows since then have been good, but not a whole tour.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -
finally just read the tampa set.
sometimes opener and present tense = Nice.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Yeah, the New Suburban Fables tour is my fave.
Berns was saying that they rehearsed for 4 weeks for this tour. I call bullshit. If they rehearsed for 4 weeks then I'm sure they'd be able to play more than 30 different songs. You could train a chimp to play most of Powderfinger's song catalogue in 4 weeks0 -
I wonder how many ppl will get a tatt like the bootleg cover?
Its a cool little logo...:)0 -
aus_suz wrote:I wonder if Ames are doing all the posters.....
I reckon the Tampa one will be more popular than the Palm Beach one....
LOL@ ninersfan having some for sale on ebay already....some things never change.....:p
Yeah same shit from him...
Ames has already started selling the AP's on their site, from this morning around 4:55am...
so theoretically, the tampa one will go up same time tomorrow morning...
whadayareckon?
And only zippo received so farStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0
