just got back from ikea where for $775 i got a TV Unit, a Glass top desk and a sideboard cabinet thing.

man you can't beat that shit, everywhere else i look i was paying $1000 just for a TV unit???? i could buy a brand new LCD tv for $1000.


but looks like i'm gonna be spending the 1st day of my holiday with an alan key putting all this shit together

I didn't meet anyone in 2003, JJJ (from here) came with me and used my spare 10c ticket in 2006 and I saw HEAPS of fellow pit members but didn't get chance to chat. I could see them all during the concert and planned to go introduce myself after....the concert finished and *poof* everyone was gone :eek:
I was chatting to a really nice guy when in line to get my ticket and he said he posts on the pit, but not very often.....don't remember his pit name though. He was over from the Eastern states and had actually met Mike the night before in a Thai restaraunt. He'd spent half the night working up the courage to go say something and then when he did he just said a simple thanks and that he was a huge fan etc;....then Mike was all Sit down and they ended up chatting for ages about learning guitar and stuff - he showed me photo's on his phone
I also spoke to the girl who was behind him in line and same....she said she posts here sometimes and was over from Tassie. I asked her if her pit name was TassiePetals and she looked at me like I was a wierdo......she wasn't very friendly :(

ha ha, i gave someone the old stink eye in 2006 when at the merch tent they said to me "Are you from RM?"

and i was like "What? nope?"

about an hour after i figured out RM was Red Mosquito, but i never post there anyway.

i need a unit of some sort badly.. dvd's are piling up in my room and there's not much floor space :eek:
