Well ltes just say I am by no means a big poster person, compared to the levels of poster interest on EB, I am clearly in the infancy stage...
I probably have about 30 posters, 12 of which are the Aussie 2006 leg.
My other ones would be all of the Aussie 2003 except for Brisbane, which I cant afford as its over $150 in most cases.
I also got Adelaide 98, beautiful poster, then some Klausen 06's;
Dusseldorf
Purple Vic
Plain Vic
Gorge
DC
Ames Hawaii
Klausen Hawaii
Ames Los Angeles
So a few nice ones, just cant afford to frame themStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

Its all about its resale possibilities
The scribble one is selling for well over $300 on Ebay, partly because of the Obama button on Ed's jacket, and everyone loves political stuff with Ed hehe
The other ones are only averaging 60-80 bucks on ebay, so people think they dont have to shell out the cash from now, but can wait till more comfortable and get one for not much higher than cost price
Hope that helpsStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

Mate, if you're in the infancy stage I must be in the "glint in the milkman's eye" stage
That's a nice collection you've got going there0 -

I didn't like it when I first saw it....looked like something I would've done in highschool art....but I've had it as my desk top wallpaper and it's really grown on me.
The Clinch one is definitely my favorite though0 -

haha, well if you read the bullshit over at BRY, they carry on about how most people who are 'in to' posters only really got on in 06 etc, and how they are much more appreciative because they were into it in 98, 96 etc
All it is, is fucken winging that they have competition now, people have caught on, and they cant have it all their own way...
All my posters are for my displaying pleasure, except I have one or 2 trade bait posters as you call it, which was how I got the LA, traded it for a dusseldorf and cash.Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

Yesterdays one took a while to sell out as well, didnt end up getting it, bought a bit lately - new snowboard boots, bindings and a pool table from the closing down sale at Pauls Warehouse - credit card looks unwell heheStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

Do you think there's any other band who's posters are more popular than PJ's?
I really have to get mine framed. I've got poster tubes strewn across my room0 -

Well at the moment that are under the bed, flat, in between two boxes of other memorabilia (state of origin, Steve Gerrard frame etc) so not really seeing the light of day.
I move into my place in March next year, and thus will begin to put my posters up, away from any place the wife can see them (not a fan hehe) so the study it isStars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.0 -

Its more about the artists (Klausen/Ames) than the band. You'll read names like EMEK, Kozik etc and its not band specific. The music festival Coachella has a poster done, and it goes for hundreds. Really interesting reading the stuff on EB etc. I cant buy a poster for a band i dont know/like/really care about just because the 'art' is good and has resale value. This isnt a business for me, i get em cos its PJ, but i must like the print also.

I don't have many posters...only really get them if I'm at the show.....I only wanted these....well because it was eddie solo and they're my concellation prize for not being able to attend :(
Now...while you're here....if you're free on the 11th of June, there's a little group of us meeting up for pre AND post drinks for Powderfinger.
Pop along if you're able to0 -

I know what you mean
The only reasons I get them is because they're PJ AND because I like the designs.
The DC/Gorge/Lolla sale is a prime example. I know DC has a great resale value (not that I'd sell them) but I really don't find the design all that appealing, so instead I chose to buy the Lolla poster and emptied DC out of my cart0
