aus_suz wrote:Hey Rob, Just wondering how u framed your setlist?
Carly wants to get hers framed and she has other stuff just cant decide what to frame with what..
Frame cost me $40 and then I bought a large thick piece of black card. I carefully cut the card using the outline of the back of the frame as a guide, positioned the 2 setlists on the glass, put the piece of card on top of the setlists and then reattached the back of the frame. Did the job for me0 -
Oz Jammer wrote:If anybody here likes a punt then look no further than the FA Cup Final between Portsmouth and Cardiff City
Portsmouth have been absolutely pathetic in their last 3 games and take absolutely no form whatsoever into the final. Portsmouth's 2 main players have injury clouds hanging over them and their star striker is ineligible to play.
Cardiff City go into the game on the back of a 3-0 win, a fully fit squad, and the support of a whole country behind them
Portsmouth - $1.25
Cardiff City - $3.55
I'll be putting $50 on Cardiff
Put my $50 on this morning and was pleased to see that the price had blown out to $4.35
Possible return for Rob - $217.500 -

Have you ever thought about putting all that time you spend playing games into something else? Eg learning a language, writing a book, exercising, volunteering, learning something etc? Do you feel guilty sitting there for a whole weekend or day or whatever doing nothing but playing games?
Wii Sports
Mario and Sonic Olympics on Wii
All very active games.
Not to mention Guitar Hero teaches you how to play guitar0 -

As I get older, I realise the importance of time and how I don't want to waste copious amounts of it watching tv, sleeping, stuffing around etc....that's what got me wondering about this.
I understand relaxing etc...but imagine what you'd achieve with that time if you were doing something different and more productive?
I'm sorry but out of the 60 odd thousand posts in this thread that has to be the most pretentious post to date. What people do in their own time is THEIR business not anybody elses. If people wanted to do the things that you've listed wouldn't you think that they'd do them?
Just the fact that you even come on here to post that shows that maybe you should take a look at yourself before you cast dispersions on others.
End of discussion0 -

Oh fucking settle down Rob.
I wasn't criticising you.....or anyone else. I just started thinking about how much time is wasted on games nowadays....and I wonder what could be achieved if so many hours weren't absorbed by games...and computers...and just shit.
And I wasn't saying I was guilt free....I do it too. But as I get older, I realise how much time I'm wasting....which made me wonder if other people feel guilty like I do.
But if you can't have a discussion about me "wondering" about this, I guess the DISCUSSION IS INDEED FUCKING ENDED!!!!

How about LEARN something? There are so many dumb people around....breeding dumber people....who just sit there and watch crap tv and read crap magazines and play crap games ALL THE TIME and never pick up a pencil or read something worthwhile or watch a documentary or TALK about anything interesting even.
I think the world needs to educate themselves....but I think the increase in computer game playing and other crap media is making it harder and harder for kids and some adults (*not you guys*) to do anything and learn anything because they're so addicted to playing or watching.
It amazes me how much time my friends spend on them....then complain that they're not happy with their lives because they're 30 and still living at home. WELL GO DO SOMETHING!!! Get off the fucking couch and put the controller down for a while!
What could these friends have done if they'd put all that effort into something more productive....THAT is my question?
Give it 50 years and the world is going to be full of deadshits.★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★
