He spoke to Ed today and Ed told him that he's coming down here for 2 solo shows, 1 in Sydney and 1 in Melbourne.
He sent me the official press statement in the email as well!!
Eddie Vedder returns to Australia, but this time he's coming solo.

Samule wrote:Everytime i go i offer, he usually turns it down, but not lately, i try. Thinking of getting him a mal for his sixtieth later this year, if i can organise a couple of his mates and stuff to put in 50 bucks it will cover it easily.
I remember having a tonne of fun on a plank when I was a teenager *sigh* memories (of a LONG time ago  ) I actually found it easier to use than a standard board.....is that normal??0 -

Samule wrote:Yeah, they are alot easier, cause of the size they are alot more stable and alot more bouyant so they are easier to paddle as well, thats why it would be good for dad, he would be able to get on the wave earlier giving him more time to stand up.
Great idea Sam! If it makes it easier on him and he's able to have a better surf, he might be more incline to join you more often. Would be so good for his health too.
Are they easy to get these days or will you need to order one? Make sure you get it organized in time0 -

Thats what I need. My printer/fax is about a metre away so I usually just roll my chair back, grab and push back off the table. The amount of times Ive been on the ball (thinking it was the chair) and nearly come a cropper is mind bogglingI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

Yeah when I first saw it I cracked up and thought "What ever next? " but then when I had a read, I'm actually thinking of getting one myself. I spend sooooo much time at my desk and always START sitting with good posture, but it doesn't take long before I'm either slumped over or sitting on my foot....it's bad :( I've checked out soo many chairs, and none of them would really stop my bad habits....but I reckon that ball chair would be pretty good??0
