    pussy. i had to hold bianca still while they did that, i watched them stick the whole thing in.
    Yep...so did my Glenn - me sitting on the bed leaning into him.
    Neither of us are good with needles at all :o and he made the mistake of watching.....he was ok until they started putting the tube thing in and all I heard was him mumble (quite jovially) "Op everythings going black" aaaand THUD!

    LMAO had to giggle! he ok for the next 2? oops.. i mean.. were you ok for the next 2?

    LOL! Everyone laughs....if you knew Glenn, he's a pretty big guy, so he cops shit from anyone who knows.
    haha. Yeah he was....only because I had the BITCH from hell as my midwife for #2 who just kept on saying "you'll feel so much prouder of yourself if you do it without drugs"
    I ended up asking how many babies she'd had and she'd had NONE :mad:
    I was totally exhausted! When my Obstetrician came in I told her I wanted an epidural and she told the Bitch to organize it, who was all "no problems, I'll get onto it"
    as soon as my Dr left...change of story.

    That baby ended up being 10lb!!! I think everyone at my school reunion would've heard me!! If I could've stood up I would've ripped that moles head off :mad:

    #3 I asked as soon as I got to the hospital, if I'd be able to get an epidural when it started getting too much and she said "meh...we'll get you one now :) Why go through ANY pain if you don't have to :) "

    Glenn left the room and the midwife held me while it was done :D

    Epidurals are great! It's not so much the pain factor for me (although that's a bonus) it's more that being in so much pain for SOOOOO long is just so tiring, and you really need all the energy you can get when it gets to the end.

    HA HA! Did he fully pass out? Same thing happened with my older brother with his first. Passed out -- all the nurses attended to him!
    Yep...totally.

    Yes, forever the optimist about stuff that I can achieve! ha ha And definitely a realist! I bought a baby book the other day (What to Expect When You're Expecting). Apparently it's the pregnant woman's Bible and I thought I'd read up on all the shit early -- FUCKING HELL! I just finished chapter 1 and I'm like :eek: (sorry DonJon -- I said "like"!!!)

    ppfftt - i had that book - it doesnt really prepare you what to expect in the real sense - when i was preggers with jay, i woke up in the middle of the nite, waddled out to go to the loo, went to sit down and my water broke - i was like aaarrrggggg!!!! WTF !!!!! :eek:

    at least the floor was tiled tho, i guess

    Fuck that! I wouldve been so pissed of and upset if I'd have had to have caesers.
    Natural birth, you're fine in no time. A caeser takes weeks, sometimes months to recover from. A wife of a guy Glenn works with had one about 6 weeks ago and she still can't even drive a car, do simple things like sweep, mop floors, hang out washing etc;
    She had to get her hubby pick bub up for weeks, when it needed a feed etc;
    And most women I know, who've had caesers have been the same :(
    That would drive me NUTS :eek:

    oohh yea - natural is all good - cept when you try to poop and not bust the stitches in your fanny!!!!!!!!!!

    nope both mine turned up later - with riley they broke it bed - eerrkkie - we had to buy a new mattress after that. but didnt have to wait all that long - 6 hours for jay, just on four for riley - i guess that means if i had another it would only be two...
