yeah, but it would still upscale normal dvds so you could just us it as a normal dvd player, but the xbox does that anyway, but i think the hd drive might upscale them a bit more then the xbox.

apparently if blu ray wins, xbox have the capability to make a blu ray add on.

were as if HD wins(yeah i know  ) PS3 would be fucked

That's the SOLE reason why Sony has paid millions to 3/4 of the major film studios to hop aboard the Blu-Ray train

ha ha, yeah, but i still hear Toshiba have a bigger budget then sony do on the whole HD front, so i think with the HD DVD players being about $180 in the U.S. and now the xbox add on coming down as well it's the 1st step in the plan to take over.

like would you pay $600 for a blu ray, or $180 for a hd that does the exact same thing.

like once consumers get behind one product more the film studios would be forced to either change sides or make both.
so i think now with the price drop toshiba will lure the undecided or unsure consumer.
i don't the the war is gonna be over as quick as people think.

hd aren't really out of it yet.

Very cool article! I wonder how much exposure it got - was it just for that site, or a newspaper as well, I wonder?
Thought this line was a bit odd though, maybe I'm wrong or misinterpreted it?
"It was the first time he ever wrote music specifically for a project outside of PJ"

I'm pretty sure he wrote the material for Into The Wild before he wrote "No More"
Can't think of any other solo songs he's written before those

    Night Eileen.
Got everything crossed that Dallas' Grandad is up and about tomorrow :)

Thanks Kylie. It turns out he didn't have pneumonia after all but had a raging infection caused by an ingrown toenail which became infected which then caused high fever and delirium. He's going to be in hospital for at least 2 weeks though as he is still very weak.

I know who The Carver is :D

    *runs*

I managed to tape most of Nip/Tuck on Monday night and watched it last night. That show is getting more and more bizarre. It wouldn't surprise me if the Carver is Sean and Julia's son, Matt. He seems to have some "issues". :)
