ozsmalltowngirl wrote:Yeah....I was one to pull everything apart to see how it worked. I remember getting in BIG trouble one time....'Santa' had given me a "Baby Alive" and within days, I disected it's head to see how it all worked, but I couldn't put that one back together
It wasn't until I was older and realized that poor Mum would've had to save for ages to be able to get that doll (which was the new you-beaut toy for that year). Ooh ahh :(
ohhhh Kylie
bet you can't get too mad now if maddi follows suit:eek:

I once woke up with a strange feeling in my ear. After an hour of lying there motionless, I felt this thing in my ear getting nearer and nearer to the entrance of my ear. A couple of minutes later a spider crawled out
I had to go to the doctors that day to make sure there were no eggs in my ear0 -
«¤tîg®ê§§¤» wrote:Was brought up on a Dairy Farm, and lived on a dairy farm for 21 years... until I moved to the Gold Coast.
I had so many animals.
Honestly... without a word of a lie... give or take here and there
at least 60 cats
a shitload of calves (we all competed in calf handling shows about 15 times a year) (I also reared Angus calves ... then later sold them for steaks)
about 15 dogs
3 sheep, Tom Dick and Harry
2 Horses Mitch and Rebel (Rebel is still alive and kickin at mums house... he's 28!!)
Emu's..... cant even say how many.... maybe forty thousand.... although only about 10 of them were pets. (Mum and Dad got into Emu's when the going was hot)
Never had birds or mice or rabbits... but had chooks!
So I guess ive loved and lost a whole lot of furry friends over my time....
I think I could still name all the cats I had too! and Dogs!
Farm upbringing is just the best you can get.
WOW! what's the average lifespan of a horse? pretty cool Rebel's still with ya!
40K emu's :eek:wah0 -

I remember watching RPA about 10 years ago and there was this pommie backpacker who was staying in a hostel complaining of a piercing noise in his ear. They had a look, and with a pair of tweezers they removed 2 COCKROACHES!!!! :eek:0

Average I think around 20 to 30 years. Im surprised he's still kickin actually. Theres been no feed for him.... except hay, and he's a Grey colour, which means he is way more prone to getting skin cancers and dying earlier. But he's an Anglo Arab (part thoroughbred part arabian) and they are hardy horses.
I think the oldest horse lived to be about 55  or something near that!he who forgets will be destined to remember0 -
