    It's sad, but it's not as if he died in a car crash, or was murdered. The man either stupidly took too many sleeping tablets, or he decided enough was enough and he wanted to die.
    If it's the latter then he doesn't deserve any sympathy. The only ones who deserve sympathy are the loved ones that he's left behind. Either way, the man was troubled and needed help

    Nobody (or not many) feels sorry for Kurt Cobain. What's the diff?

    That's who I always feel sad for when anyone dies. The one thats died is no longer suffering.....it's the one's they've left behing that are left suffering :(

    Yet another star gets added to the "27 Club" and the worst thing about it is that they were all stupid, avoidable deaths :(

    I know several ppl that have ended their lives.....
    U are right Kylie its the ones that are left behind that suffer........
    In lots of cases family and friends dont realise that there is a problem....
    The ones left behind are left heartbroken that their loved ones chose death and didnt seek help from their family and friends.....its a very sad situation..:(

    Yep....I lose all respect for people who commit suicide! Such a selfish, selfish thing to do!

    and, sorry, but I'm one of the one's that didn't feel sorry for Kurt :( I felt sorry for Frances, as I do for Matilda.....she is only 2 and will never get to know her Father and probably won't even remember him :(

    It's not yet confirmed that Heath did commit suicide, but it certainly sounds very suss.

    We do too.....and as well as what you mentioned, Suz, the families and loved ones nearly always blame themselves :(

    News of Heath Ledger's death has shaken friends of the actor.

    "This is terrible and I'm in shock," a close friend of Ledger's tells Usmagazine.com. "But to tell you the truth... we saw it coming."

    "Heath has gone though a rough road of trying to get sober," the source tells Us.

    "Things were very dark," the source says. "His one joy was Matilda." Matilda is his 2-year-old daughter with Michelle Williams. They split in September.

    "Everything else was misery for him," adds the source. "Unfortunately he was too late in getting help."

    Ledger, 28, was found dead, reportedly at Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment.
