My other poodle, Starr loves to snooze on my lap. It's so cute.
I dont care for cuddling dogs much...they smell and lick (insert vomit smilie)

Hes good for protection and its nice to take him when we go and get wood etc, but I am much better at being a cat person...my cat Eddie sleeps under the covers with me :o

Yes :) luckilly! Thank goodness he flew yesterday arvo.....I would've been a wreck if his flight was last night hearing about that plane having to turn back to Adelaide
That's 2 Qantas problems in the last week......I'm gonna be stressing when Glenn goes back....they only use Qantas :-(

OMG! Forgot all about this weekend :o I'm afraid so hun...I've got 3 very sick patients here and no doubt Connor and I will join them in the next few days
Thats cool mate, we actually have a party to go to on Sat night anyway... so it worked out okay...I hope your little munchkins get better soon, its a shit having sick kids, you feel so sorry for them...

We will def need to catch up before you go over east...it would be incredibly ironic (but sad) if we didnt meet each other face to face while you were in the state!

I know what you mean. "Licky" is our other name for Nicky. ;) We've only had the poodles since last September and we love it.

It's funny when you see people walking a dog which is bigger than them. :)

    :( Thats no good mate...
Back pain is probably the worst pains to deal with...I would gladly go through childbirth again if it meant I would live the rest of my days without back pain...

    Physio? Bowen Therapy? Acupuncture?

My Dalmatian is as big as me when he stands up. I am only a couple of inches taller than him and he pulls me down the road very easily.

I LOVE cuddling our dogs. They've been sleeping in bed with us this week because it's been really cold. Floyd is very sensitive to cold weather and sleeps under the blankets. I don't know how he breaths but he loves it! I woke up with him sharing my pillow the other morning.

We've been told three times in the last 2 weeks how good looking our dogs are. We keep them in top shape. Very proud of our doggies. :)

I'm allergic to Dalmatians. :( That's what's good about poodles, they don't shed hair like other dogs. It's more like wool and nice to cuddle up against. We don't let our dogs sleep in the house but they come inside a lot now that it's cold.

    Are you rather short?
I think we were talking a while ago about our heights and I think your name came up?

Dalmations are quite large though :)

I brought my Boxer into work for the first 3 months because she was too small to leave with our big Dalmatian. She used to sit on my lap while I typed. Well, now she's 30 kgs and STILL climbs up on our laps when we sit at the computer or watching tv. She's such an affectionate dog.

Aww. Starr does that every morning. They sleep in our outside laundry and when I get them up in the morning all they want to do now is race straight into the house and plonk themselves down on the couch with us.

Ziggy and I don't have kids, therefore our dogs are our babies. :)

Nicky is such a sweetie and so attached to both of us. He's beside me now on the floor having a snooze because he's just had dinner. His grey "beard" is really thick at the moment as he needs to go to the groomers.

Ziggy????? when you come back....just wondering if Bushland Beach is an OK area? I've found a house there that looks perfect!!!!

I'm getting a list together of houses for Glenn to check out when he goes back :)

It's quite nice...used to be quiet but now all the hills around are being built on etc etc. A lot of people aren't happy with the fast development. It's a fair distance from Grammar though. About 20 to 25 mins drive every morning and there is a lot of traffic at peak times...and when you're driving in the morning and in the afternoon, you have the sun right in your eyes. That's always turned me off.

I agree. People laugh at us because we cook our dogs special food and walk them every day and they live inside (which is going to be a pain in the arse when we have kids but we'll cross that when we come to it -- probably need a new house with upstairs/downstairs area). But they're sooo cute! :D

Oh Bugger! :( I'm very taken with that high school, so that would drive would be a put off....especially when I'd have the other 2 to get to school as well....try to be in 2 places at once.
What highschool would the kids in Bushland beach attend?
