    Carly is off to the BDO in Sydney later in the week she is going to be away for a week.

    I was gonna get a BDO ticket when I found out they were playing late (would be much cooler), but then found out they're only playing for just over an hour :( I'm not paying that much to be teased!

    I went to Famke's 1st birthday party today which was nice. Time flies!!

    What's the point of going to the BDO and not seeing the headline act? The only thing that goes on the same time as the headline act is the main act in the Boiler Room (or whatever they're calling the place that houses the techno/dance acts these days)

    I'm pumped. So far had KOL, Andrew Bird, a great Spicks and Specks show, Mudhoney, Brian Wilson twice, some nice jazz and Sufjan Stevens this month.

    Now this week there's Bjork on Weds and Joanna 'big ball of yarn Melbourne ad' Newsom. Oh. And RATM ON TUESDAY! RAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

    Yes was thinking of Famke the other day....she'll be 1 on Tuesday, yeah :) That year has just FLOWN!!!!!

    Sam's not at RATM :mad: he's at Paul Kelly :rolleyes: very disappointed :(

    Like I said...each to their own.....I just pictured Sam would be really keen to see RATM!!!
    I'm still considering BDO......it's just so much money just to see 1 band for only an hour and a bit.

    that's not bad when you think about it these days. most international acts are $100, it was even $100 for the PF/SC shows.

    cat empire are $80.

    ticket prices are becoming ridiculously gay.

    Falls is about $150 without booking fee and an extra 20 for the night b4 it starts...
    The bands dont seem as good for Falls as they use to be...
