    oh nice!! attract many tourists???

    pffft 'run' hahahaa!

damn sbs not showing any Greek games.. and (bad) to setanta :( it's hitting home now that it's started!! this time four years ago we had friends over at 3am .. so much fun..

Not that many. It's closed off but it's extremely easy to get in. Nobody cares :D

Should just fork out the $15 and get Setanta. It'll be worth it even though Greece won't get past the group stage

    Tail was not played.

    Posse was avoided.

by the time we got in, got merch and $10 beverages, there was little chance of joining them up at their regular front spot.

not bad, not much, 2 shirts, kinda similar, staircase on front, dates on back, one red and one dark blue, but not exactly the same design. um, maybe 1 or 2 other shirts, posters, stubbie holders, couple other things, almost got a baby shirt for Zara but i refuse to pay $30.

they have a powderfinger hoodie that is nice but $80. it's grey with just powderfinger embroided on the front in blue.

I was a bit disappointed with powderfinger.. Sure they sounded great, but there was not Tail, DAF, Living type, return of the electric horseman, ibis or OIPIC (and that is the song that i have never heard live, and thought this would finally be my chance after 9 times of seeing them over the span of 11 years :( ). Also annoyed at my lack of will power, as i was standing behind the sound board and could see the set list. So as soon as I saw no oipic i was over it really.

Highlights for me: JC, Capoicity, Up and down and back again.
Meeting up with lovely people from here again :)

To be fair, it's not really Powderfinger's fault that those songs didn't get played.
I hope I get to hear "Up & Down & Back Again". Haven't heard it played for 7 years and it's one of my all time favourite songs

i believe the votes counted for shit. the voting info did say the band get final say. and you can't tell me a song like sweet lip, that has been played at every show so far got voted in over a whole lot of other songs.

and last night berns said that only 3 songs from dream days got voted into the set, but they still played 6 songs from dream days????

I agree. Bernie said "you guys are so predictable in the songs you vote for". that annoyed me. I know you can't please everyone, but if you aren't going to play return of the electric horseman, or oipic then don't tease me you bastards.
