It's aweful....we do a lot of fundraising for it here too....the Mum of one of Stevens friend lost a bub to SIDS.....it's tragic :(
I was so paranoid when our 3 were bubs.
Terrible to lose a child for any reason, but to something that gives no warning and no answers...... :(

Tasmania had an extremely high rate of sids. Im pretty sure it was the highest in the country and considering out population it was pretty bad.
Its amazing how when they started the campaign of putting babies to sleep on their backs that the deaths decreased.
It was so common I have known so many ppl here that have lost their babies to sids. :(

Easy. Drank a few beer, rolled a spliff, watch 3 straight games of footy. Nice and relaxing - kids were quiet

Got on the bus this morning and 2 little thugs (about 15) hoped on and sat in front of me. I knew the minute they got on they were up to something. 3 secs late out come the texta's and one is about to graffiti the seat. Im hungover and half asleep and without thinking - give him a soft slap on the forehead (which scared the fark outta him) but was only soft.

    That starts a stand off
I didnt write on the chair
I know you didnt but you were gonna
    But I didnt
I know but do it and Ill hit you

Finally they take their focus off me and start blaring music full ball and spitting all over the ground. A lady turns and asks them to be respectful and gets told "fark off you fat sl*t" so now Im back in another verbal and cop a "Id crush your face mate" to which I respond "I invite you and your little red haired mate to hop of the bus when I do"

I was waiting for a barrage of abuse as I hoped off but nothing surprisingly - luckily as I probably would hiy one of them even being half my age.

And of course (except for one lady) NO ONE says a damn thing and the bus drivers response when told "nothing I can do about it mate"

    So frustrating

There is a promo for a screening of 'into the wild' on the photobucket sign in page. I've only seen it will have to wait till I get home to check out what the deal is.
