It's basically an internal burner in a case that plugs in via USB.
I just assumed as with other things like that, I'd be able to plug it in and the computer would recognise new thing and I'd have to pop in a disc or something and Voila!....but NO :(

Yep...about a gazillion times. I ended up sitting here til just after 4.30 this morning trying to figure it out.
