Remasters was the way to go.....did you get the 4 disc set?

No :( Just the boring 2cd set for me. It's strange to think that "Remasters" has been out for 17 years

Ive got a Misty Mountain Hop/Black Dog vinyl single I bought in 1971/72 when I was 10.........36/37 years later its still spinning.......crackles a fair bit...but it still spins.....:p

Probably be worth a bit of money in the UK because they never released any singles over there (except "D'yer Mak'er")

17 years!....:o it was one of the first things I bought for Glenn as his girlfriend.....I was on a mission to get him hooked like me ;) It worked......he was a Door's FREAK (and a Frank Zapper freak  )

I had the 2 cassette set for my car - no CD players in cars then.

I don't know about The Doors, I ;ike most of their stuff, but I think you need a LOT of drugs to fully appreciate their music.

Alabama Song is great....mind you we've got a funny 'you had to be there' story that helps us love that song. I love The Door's, even though JM was a fuck head! Having said that....I think Glenn did to me with The Doors, what I've done to him with Pearl Jam :)
