    PISSED OFF!!!!! :mad:

    Got the msg about the 'secret' Powderchair show in Newie this morning just before 8. Drove like a 'madman' (excuse the pun) and got to the Exhibition Centre about 8.10. Waited in line, and the allocation ran out while I was standing at the desk where they were giving out the wristbands :mad:
    150 tickets!!! For fuck sake, what a ridiculous number!!!
    To make matters worse, when they told us that there were no more tickets left, the girl behind me burst into tears. I started to feel sorry for her until one of the MySpace pricks walked up to her and GAVE her a ticket :mad:
    For fucks sake, why cry, it's not as if it's Pearl Jam :rolleyes:

    You should have pretended to consol that sook (you know, a rub on the back or arm and a "there there, you'll be alright" type of thing)......Then......snatched her ticket and ran like a 'madman' :D

    I must say.. i pre ordered Ben Harper's new Lifeline album.... got a link last night to download an EP of live stuff....

    Lifeline has some good lyrics.. but damn Ben worst delivery ever.... some of the live tracks are awesome though, don't like that version of Your own two hands though..


    Anyone else get it?

    I'm telling you mate, it definitely did NOT deserve a ticket. In fact if she already had a ticket, they should've taken it off her :)

    :( and I assume she'd flown down for tonights show anyway....so she would have flown down regardless of weather she'd gone to the secret gig or not :mad:
    Sounds like a kid that knows they'll always get what they want by throwing a tantrum.....I've got friends with kids like that and it really shits me, especially when it happens in front of my kids, who then think I'm the big bad wolf coz I would be more likely to take something off them if they did it ;)

    Cheer up Rob....I can understand your frustration, but just look forward to tonight and get pumped for the show - it's gonna be a show to remember! :D

    Haha....I was thinking girl for ages....but for some reason I changed my mind a few weeks ago.......maybe it's a hermaphrodite :eek:
