So now 10c can release badges with Ed with no beard....
Its a marketing thing Ed shaving his beard off............:p
To make us to buy new merch........hehehe
gorgeous!!! wonder if we'll make it there come April!!
April 6 is the finale of Surfest, the Mark Richards Pro. We used to be able to attract the biggest names around the world. Kelly Slater brought Pam Anderson here one year
Now the sponsorship money has dwindled and so has it's ranking on the tour :(
The women's event is the biggest in Australia though, so Steph Gilmore will be here again for sure
I still want to carry through my idea and get some sort of music concert to coincide with Surfest every year. I wonder if MR knows anybody?

It's all the pricks like Andy Irons that don't surf to surf but surf to compete and win and be prick up themselve bastards, who are bad role models for their admirers... i hate that guy...
If i was MR or if it was my comp, i wouldn't want half the guys on the WCT to compete in my event anyway..

It's just sad that all these surfers don't show respect to true legends like MR by coming over and competing in the Mark Richards Pro just as a sign of respect. Money shouldn't be the be all or end all.
If the top surfers came back to compete again, then sponsors would be lining up with their cash, and the Mark Richards Pro would regain it's 5 star ranking due to the large amount of prize money that would be available :(
Surfest is Australia's largest surfing event but it's only the Midori Pro (the women's event) that can attract the top surfers :(
