She did a run around Rod Laver even made it up to the fans way up in the rafters....she has the flattest tummy ever and is hell fit to be able to run around the arena and still be able to sing....was an entertaining night....Phoebe absolutely loved it......:)

i've been kinda over MOW for a while now, liked the original Ed and mike did at the dylan tribute.

but lately i haven't really gone out of my way to hear other versions, but i have heard others, didn't waste my time watching the letterman version(the only time pj have been on letterman that i haven't seen), and i don't even recall listening to the newy version. but i have heard the newy boot several times, so obviously it didn't leave a lasting impression

but this version i like purely cause's it's different, i like the way the innocent criminals play it. much the same reason why i like the way they do indifference, it's not the same as PJs
    condescending and sarcastic since 1980

I LOVE Ben but I don't like his versions of MOW. Compared to Ed, Ben's versions lack the anger that's connected to that song

really cause to me, ben out-shined ed for anger at lolla, ed just sounds like he's going through the motions.

have a listen to ben sing the "you hide in your mansions as the young peoples blood flows out of their bodies" part.

Yeah I have but if you compare that to PJ on Letterman or maybe Newcastle then I think you might have a different opinion.
You SHOULD check out the Letterman performance - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svHentyELXo

Ahhh...love the Dylan tribute (nice blue sweater ;) ) The Letterman version was great, too (not my fave, but it was good).
I don't know what it is.....I know what you're saying about Ben at Lolla, but, I just think that Ed sings it with a different kind of passion. I really can't explain it. I can't listen to the Newie version or watch the Dylan Tribute version without getting (at least) a bit choked up....it just send shivers up my spine.
I guess we all hear things in our own way:)

haha! I rarely get to bed before 2:) It's only 12.18 here.

Sounds like me on the Perth boot.....Glenn and the boys were the first to pick it up, because they're used to hearing me do the same at school concerts.....yes I'm one of those embarrassing Mums ;) We've got so much video footage of the kids concerts and all you can hear at the end is me screaming...LOL :D
I've got my Showbox DVD on....hadn't watched it for a while coz the DVD player died, but I got a new one last Thursday, so now I'm getting my fix;)

about 7-8 weeks  thank goodness for foxtel! It took me that long to decide which one to get. I wanted a DVD recorder this time but I wanted to make sure I got a descent one.....so far so good :)
The main pain in the bottom was that our stereo is outside, so if I wanted to listen to CD's I had to go out in the freezing cold....now I can sit inside again :D
