The wires lady just came and got the bandicoot shes taking it to the vet to get checked out....pleased the magpies didnt get it...She said it was an Eastern Barred bandicoot....

Yeah the bandicoot is a baby one not very big...Im not sure if its just sleeping where it is now cos its time to sleep or because its injured.
Its still under the same leaves that it was yesterday at 3pm.
I know of a lady around the road that does look after injured wild animals I might ring her.
Im just making sure the magpies dont come back.
Last week I moved a pademelon off the road that had been killed by a car and I rang the council to come and get it......but a dog ate it ...........:(

It'd be great if you do ring that carer. It certainly sounds like it's hurt. They're usually very active at night, so for it to still be in the same spot, doesn't sound good:(

I went thru 35 pages of threads on the Porch the other day and it was the largest in the 35 pages I looked at....
