well seeing as i can't spell then yes any child i have will more then likely be a dumbarse.
but with my extraordinarily long last name, short 1st names are on the cardsZiggyStar wrote:Surely Threefish is home from the ante-natal class by now! I want to hear the c-section horror stories!

i'm not that great a fan of lachlan either, the wife likes it.
i don't like it cause does anyone remember that song a few years ago by that all girl group i can't remember who but it basically went
"l. a. c. h. l. a. n. me and lachlan in my panel van."
and
"if this van's a rockin, don't come a knockin, cause i will be fuckin the hottest of lachlan"
which is a pretty cool song but you know. not a bad theme song, but not really for a kid.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

Just my opinion but I reckon Lachlan is one of those names that u would spend the rest of your life spelling to ppl.......especially if u already have a long surname...is that hard to spell....
Would be cool to have a name that ppl could spell correctly all the time...
I really like the name Lachlan its pretty popular....:)

nah, basically what i said last week,
it's major surgery, risk of infection, blood transfusions, slow recovery ect, can't walk around for the 1st few days after, they say you can't drive for at least 3 weeks but some insurance companies won't insure you til at least 6 weeks.
but yeah, it's quick, you know exactly when the baby is gonna come(which to me ruins the whole surprise of it, but meh) but yeah that's bout it really.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -

I friends spelt their son's name "Lochlan" because they wanted to be different. I couldn't stand having a name that you have to say "and that's Lochland with an O"...
..but I suppose you're used to that, Glenn with two Ns!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

When I had my first daughter there was a lady that had a caeser and she couldnt even stand straight and she couldnt hold or bath her baby....:(
My first daughter I had an epidural my opinion the doctors can be as rough as they like then u pay with all the pain when it wears off...
The other 2 I had no drugs the recovery was absolutely amazing felt so much better than when I had the epidural....
U just have to remember whatever pain u have in labour its not going to last forever...once the babe pops out its over....no more pain...
mind over matter....:)0 -

Cool! I know all that so no surprises there. Phew! I was hoping you wouldn't come back with something new and scary!
It's quick, you can plan it, no agonising pain for 12+ hours and your pink bits stay the same shape and remain nice and tight! Sounds perfect to me!★ 1995 - Brisbane ★ 1998 - Brisbane ★ 2003 - Brisbane ★ 2006 - Brisbane ★

My sister had two caesareans (breech babies) and she was fine. The day after my sister looked like she couldn't stand up really straight and she held her wound a bit when she walked. Day after she was fine, walking around, had guests, doing everything.

oh yeah they also said for the 1st day or so you may not know when you need to pee, cause you gots no feeling down there. so they tell ya just to go every few hours so you don't piss yourself.
and you need a catheter in you til you can walk around obviously cause for the first few days you are stuck in bed.condescending and sarcastic since 19800 -
