    I'm planning on going to falls this year as well, Lorne though not Marion Bay. I went two years ago and it was THE best music festival i've been to. I can't wait.

    This will be the 5th Festival at Marion Bay...
    Its really hard to get tickets to so u have to be lucky...
    They sell fast..Last yr u had to be registered to recieve an offer of tickets..
    The previous yrs scalpers were getting over $300 for tickets...
    2 yrs ago we paid just over $1,000 for 3 tickets....
    They were talking though about making it an over 18's festival not sure if that was the talk for Lorne as well.. Not sure if that will happen though..

    I reckon ozjammer might be right saying White Stripes arent they touring here in Dec too?

    Hey did anyone here get an email about Paul Kelly concerts.?
    I got an email a few weeks ago and cant find it...And I cant remember where it was from either....:(

    Nah, in winter we generally have 16 to 24 degrees, maybe a bit higher during the day. Our winter doesn't normally last this long. Usually by July we're barely wearing winter clothes whereas right now I've got slippers on and a jumper and I'm still a little cold! NOT that I'm complaining!

    It was pretty funny, we were hidden behind all these chairs, then all of a sudden someone yelled something, i couldn't understand, then they all started yelling and looking around and started running, they were speaking Thai so i had no idea what was going on, but they managed to throw me the gambling board and someone said police, and i think thats when i shat my pants...Apparently, the police over there can't arrest foriegners for gambling, so thats why they threw me the board and dice and everything. I wish they told me that earlier.

    Oh yeah yesterday I saw this guy wearing a PJ cross surfboard tee at my local shop. I kinda looked at him and I think he was thinking whats she looking at....I wanted to say cool tee...but didnt...thought he might have thought I was a nutter....LOL
    That only the 3rd time I have seen someone else wearing a PJ tee in Tasmania. :)

    Well when people mentioned Surf's Up in here I had no idea what it was... but i saw a cool movie preview last night, that turned out to be Surf's Up.. i wanted to see it even before i knew it was Surf's Up :)

    I feel like a bloody priest when I wear mine its got a really small neck hole and fits like a skivvey around my neck...Im thinking about taking it to a dress making and getting them to cut a new neck and band....Cos I really do like it....

    Just lay it down suz and cut around the collar yourself! It will be the right cut and it will make it look even more Rock!!
    If you do take it to a tailor.... get them to cut a wide neck on it, like the neck where you can see nearly all the way to your shoulders.... you get me?
    Ive had PJ Tee's that ive taken to a Tailor and the put a new collar in it.... but it looks funny and .... i think the wide neck would look better!

    I watched (or tried to watch) Empire Records with Leigh last week because he hadn't seen it. I can't believe how fucking CRAP it is!!! I didn't really like it that much when I was younger...now I remember why! Bad bad bad! We had to turn it off it was so bad!

    High Fidelity = best movie ever about record stores!

    jack black's in it so you can't go wrong. and he does a killer version of Let's get it on for the soundtrack, the guy can actually sing pretty fucking good.

    if its done by a tailor, probably not because they would run a seam around it to stopthat. If it was done by me... probably!!
