    Live Earth Istanbul - Cancelled
Live Earth Rio de Janeiro - High chance of cancellation

Great start to the Live Earth campaign

    Will Ed pop up somewhere??
    Sydney?
    London?
    NY?

    My bet is Sydney :)

Sydney?! Is there something you know that you are not telling us? If so, I'm going to kick myself for not going.

  • watching it now. Its a shame the crowd in Sydney dont really like overly excited... i guess they are all hanging round for the bigger acts.

Sneaky sound System.... what made them hit it big so quick? Apart from the fact that its totally not my kinda music.... they just annoy me!

Hope you had a great day yesterday mate!! Bet you drank some of your fav beer (that one you sang about ;) ) and have a fabulous head ache today!!

  • Sucks that they were cancelled. Probably Poli's made em cancel it.

But Al Gore has a surprise concert in Washington. The Poli's there didnt want one but he decided to sneak one in there anyway!

Did you know that if we all took out our Phone Chargers from the Socket, that would generate enough electricty to power 80,000 houses!!

They're pretty good.. even if they do sound just like an 80s band I used to like called Simple Minds.

Hey I'm sure I saw Vital in the crowd on the oval jumping up and down like a spaz. ;)

  • Simple Minds.... now that takes me back!!

They dont sound as good as I thought they would.... still a very cool band... I think the backings are too soft and he's not hitting the high's as much as he should be.

    Is Stuart there?
Does he have a "Play Leash you Pussies" Sign :D:D:D

They definitely have a 1980s sound and look. I like their music though .. especially Black Fingernails... Yeah Stuart got tickets. I wanted to go but couldn't because my guy works all day Saturday and we're going out tonight for a friends birthday. :(

I remember when they first cam eout... back when I was a teen... damn! They are really good huh. I love their music and teh lead singer, Kav, came into the Hard Rock about 3 years ago and he was so freakin nice!! I got him into the office to sign a Big Day Out Poster I had! He was a super cool guy!

Anywho, I have to go to work... i dont wanna miss Live Earth though... might do A sneaky and play it on the telly's at work. After all, one of our Motto's for 31 years has been "Save the Planet"

Have a great night Eileen. Hope your Date with your man is nice :) EDIT : friends party with your man!

I'm spoiled rotten. Compared with what I've been used to over the past 3 weeks, this is sleep inducing. Though I must say Eskimo Joe are marginally better than fucking Futureheads.

I'm watching it on the computer.

Missy Higgins is on next, then JBT, Jack Johnson, Wolfmother and Crowded House.

I have to go out soon though. :(
