Thanks Mate.... you know...my other half said how it was bitter sweet for him to be at the show without me.... i told him not to feel bad about it, there was nothing we could do.
When we went to see Tenacious D last week...all I coudl ask him was questions about the gig....how far back were you in comparison to... where did you pick up the tickets....crazy shit like that.....it wasnt until we got there that I felt sick in the stomach being there and knowing ... again... what I had missed out on...

    anyways...:0

That would be very very cool although im not a harper fan or JBT.....actually, cant stand their music!! but then again, my taste in music is a little weird!! compared to a few in here ;);)

    I know how he felt.
Amanda couldn't come to Sydney 1 with me due to work commitments and it felt strange not having her beside me during the show cos we always go to concerts together.
At least she got to Sydney 3 & Newcastle with me

I just realised that I didn't answer your question.

The answer is no. But she still likes them a lot. I guess you can see this by her fave songs......Smile and Down

She was so happy when Smile got played at Sydney 3 and Down got played in Newy (although she'd already heard it at Sydney 1 in 2003)

    Hi All

Just been listening to some of the bootlegs, and listening to them in order that the gigs were on.

Damn they're awesome!! Sometimes you forget little things here and there, or some things that were said etc, but don't they bring the memories flooding back! :)

Anywayz, happy Australia Day to everyone tomorrow.
Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.

Yeah would be interesting to know. Im pretty sure that PJ (or at least Ed) will do something with Crowded House.

Also just my two bob about the upcoming news - dont reckon it'll have anything to do with us down here. If it does then it may be DVD news - but then again why would they tell us to update our info for that? Its not as if they'll send us a copy.

It started out as a neil finn solo album and he got Nick seymour in to play bass then it turn into a crowded house album, it's all a bit weird if you ask me, which no one did.

but yeah it still amazes me how it"s only getting press now, as i said at life wasted a saw a story on channel 10 with angela bishop back in like october or november talking to neil and nick at real world studios about the new album and the were playing on touring it. but i guess only now the whole thing has become official

here is a bit of an interview from last year:

In the Real World control room, Nick and Neil are putting the finishing touches on a new track. Always creatively restless, Neil has temporarily moved to the UK to work on new material.

"It’s early days, but there’s something that feels right about moving over here for the time being," he explains,"There’s an intensity in the way people work in this part of the world that makes me want to do better work. The level of talent on call here is tremendous. There’s some impressive work going on here, and you want to go up against it. In New Zealand, I could pack up and go to the beach."

Sessions for the new album, which is being produced by Ethan Johns, have also taken place in Los Angeles and New Zealand. Nick has been by Neil’s side all the way. The chemistry in the studio has a subtle power behind it. Although Paul’s spirit hangs over the new work, neither are, as yet, prepared to call it Crowded House.

"These days it seems more important to get the records right,"Neil concludes, "because they’re going to hang about forever. I’m eager to get out and play live, especially with Nick. It’s going to be really fun. We’re just trying to make sure we get it right."

Was jumping all over the show and singing my head off...although the wedges and sour cream I had before hand didnt like my jumpin around so much :p

WHat is with that??? There isnt even an inkling in the whole description to say it is fake.... and $7500 later!! very very strange...

Stella, it was a full house at the Tivoli....not a big venue, but a freakin sweet one!! I'd say probably 1000 to 1500 people....i think probably closer to the 1000 mark. The tivoli is such a great live band venue. its got a great setup and the sound was great. liked it alot!
