Coming out in May. Don't like the title but still really excited for it, I think this will be one of the best albums of the year.

I really liked Black Gives Way to Blue so this is a no-brainer purchase for me. Can't wait.

You cant compare BGWTB to their records with Layne because its totally different. Layne Staley brought a dark, sinister, haunting quality to their records that will never be replaced.

That doesnt mean its not a very good modern rock record though, I really enjoyed it. Will definitely be picking up the new one, really looking forward to it, in fact.

Jerry is and was the heart and soul of the band. They're as good as they ever were and the last album proves it. No one will ever replace Layne (and they haven't tried to do so) who has an incredible voice but he wasn't AiC. Not everyone will be able to accept them without Layne but that's their loss. They put on a killer show last time around with DuVall. Looking forward to the new album and tour.

The name does kinda suck though.
  • I'll have to give the last record another try. I listened once and wasn't really into it.

Not possible, AIC will be in Oklahoma that day. I'm assuming he means the festival dates. Though if they want to stop by the Soundgarden show in Dallas the next day they are more than welcome...

I cant wait for this album. Loved the last record. AIC have always been my favorite Seattle band after PJ. They are so different from any band out there and thats why I always loved them.

There is the preorder for the CD. Hopefully soon the LP preorder will be posted.

Also, "Stone" from that album is available for purchase through iTunes. It's a pretty good track. The guitars and vocal melodies are very Cantrell which I enjoy.

They played "Hollow" on the XM station Lithium and I thought it was a lost old school AIC track. Solid!

    Here's the weird video.

I heard a 90 second clip of the song " stone " yesterday...sounds great too. Can't wait for this album.

Who would have thought in 2012 and 2013 we would be buying new soundgarden and aic..... I love it.

I downloaded "Stone" on iTunes and I'll tell yah what, "Stone" is a great song; better than "Hollow". Love the bass intro and the guitar riff throughout. By the way, I am seeing AIC and Soundgarden in the same week :D...May 8th and 12th in Pitt, PA. First time for both bands. I have a hard rock hard on!

AiC will be performing at Ottawa's Bluesfest in July. Seen them open for Velvet Revolver, put on a great show. Would love to see them again but I'm holding out for PJ's tour announcement.

Pearl Jam won't be touring until the fall, so why not go to this show in July?

You're talking about a couple of their greatest and best received tunes.

I think Stone is the best thing they've done since they got Duvall on board and it compares pretty well with their best work.

Looks like it's going to be a peppy, pick-you-up-from-a-funk record based on the song titles!

Where are you guys ordering this from? Its over $15 on Amazon for the CD and the LP is outrageous for a pic disc. Thoughts?
