So while at work every time this guy starts to sing I can tell immediately who it is before fully taking in their music. Well, I wonder who might be some of the most recognizable voice/ singers in rock music both alive and those gone on to rest....hopefully in PEACE.

I'll start my DIRTY DOZEN with this guy who tops the list...

12. Axel Rose.....Guns & Roses...not a fav of mine but his signature voice does get picked up by an ear like it or not.

    I'm not speaking of background music or chords, I'm speaking of just their voices on certain songs are similar. Please don't forget this all about YOUR MOST RECOGNIZABLE voice in rock music and we ALL have different choices.

    I'm open to all music and music genres which includes Tesla the scientist and Tesla the band. Pearl Jam's music has done quite a bit FOR many people including myself. EV still has that power in his music, at times not great but better than most and the same I can say for my favorite rock band RUSH.

    Back in the mid 70s when I first heard RUSH, Geddy's voice the one thing that caught my ear and attracted me to the band. Then I listened to 2112 and it was all over, all other rock bands took a backseat.

    Btw it's Neil Peart "The Professor" is certainly one of the best at what he does...lyrics and banging the skins. They come to my state in April, my daughter and I will see them in Sunrise and Orlando # 47 and 48.
