I think the 10C should bring back the poster presales for the 2013 concerts. If I remember correctly, most people liked the presales when they did them a few years ago.

At lot of people are going to want to get a good spot in GA on the field at Wrigley. A poster presale would save them all a trip to the merch stand before the head to the field.

Bump if you agree.

2/18 update: I think there is enough support to change this thread to a petition. Please add your name to the list of supporters and I will send the list to the 10C. Let's make this happen!

3/24 update: We have built up a HUGE list of supporters. Please keep the signatures coming.

    I could be wrong but I remember in a chat or something that the band itself put a stop to this - took away from the experience.

    I never knew that standing in line at the merch stand was part of the concert experience

    Agree with this post so much. This was so nice for the United Center 2009 shows, staying at the pre-party longer and meeting/talking to many nice new fans instead of waiting in line at the merch stand forever and getting your poster all smashed up the rest of the night.
    Obviously not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things but I remember thinking how nice it would be having that option at other shows, wish they would bring it back.
    No time to be void or save up on life, you gotta spend it all.

    Also add, would it be possible to do something like Soundgarden has been doing lately. Random signed posters signed by the whole band. Yeah, that would be great! :thumbup: :mrgreen:

    I'm a fan of this idea.

    Either that or producing a run of posters equal to the number of tickets sold, and limiting people to one poster each.

    Didn't the 10C do a poster presale for one of the 2012 Europe festival shows? It seems like it is still a possibility for this year.

    If not the pre-sale, hopefully they'll bring back the UPS truck like the PJ20 shows where you could give it to them and they'll ship to your house at a later date.
