    That rsd box set looks great. I'd have to line up early to snag it. Put an addition on my house for that box! I've yet to be bitten by the clutch bug. Saw them a loooong time ago. So much great music to explore...where should I start with them?

    Robot Hive/Exodus is my favorite, but I'd say go with Blast Tyrant or The Elephant Riders to see how Clutch sounded early on, and try Book of Bad Decisions to see where they are now.  Hope you enjoy!

    They've been trying out several new songs on tour: "Boss Metal Zone," "Slaughter Beach," "Nosferatu Madre," and "We Strive for Excellence."

    Album is likely done, but release is being held up by vinyl production delays.

    According to frontman Neil Fallon:
    Early in 2021, I learned the Boss Metal Zone pedal schematic was being presented as ‘proof’ that the Covid-19 vaccine had an electronic component to communicate with 5G cellular networks. It was, of course, nonsense. It sounded like a Philip K. Dick premise. I didn’t want to write a song specific to Covid-19 vaccines, so I went with the Philip K. Dick angle (again). ‘Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?’ came to mind (replicants, in particular, representing what is real and not real, or is there a difference at all?). The video makes no secret that this is an homage to Philip K. Dick and a future where we have distortion coursing through our veins.

    I got in trouble by my boss for playing their first album too much in-store. He actually took the promo copy home so I couldn’t play it again! So, I bought 2 copies and kept them in my backpack for continued in-store enjoyment! Haha!
