What you are saying is completely subjective actually. Boy the NRA puts out an app with guns that shoot targets and has information on it about gun safety and people go nuts. Where were all these people two days ago complaiing about the 1000s of other apps out there where you actually shoot people. I play a lot of sniper games on the ipad. You get rewarded for shooting people in the head. Why no outcry?

I dont see anything wrong with the app...but perhaps the timing and their intent was questionable?

Exactly. And they probably got exactly what they wanted with all this press. But along with their timing, they surely expected some people not happy on the other side, especially if they ironically said we need to look at video games and hollywood.

I just think its hypocritical of the NRA to release a video game with guns shooting things when at their press conference they blamed Video games for their violence.

i liked playing atari 2600 when block aircraft shot one another out of the sky & maybe the sky had block shaped clouds. also, mad bomber dropped bombs with lit fuses through a block riddled screen and you had to cath them in barrels of water, was it?

I don't subscribe to the violent games, music, movies = violent people theory. I am merely pointing out the sheer unadulterated hypocrisy of these people.

Media whores is all they are granted, but are some people really that fucking stupid or suffer from short term memory loss when it comes to this issue, and the stated case the NRA made not too long ago.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, these people would be laughed out of most other countries, and yet they have substantial clout in America.
