to be honest, people need to be nicer to one another. life is complicated & difficult enough as it is. to come here & see so much negativity is pretty sad, in my opinion. lighten up, people. there's no reason to tear each other down.

Yes... it's weird that some people have so much negativity to dole out (not that some honest negative feelings aren't normal - i find people bubbling with constant nicey-nice irritating because it seems fake - but a few are just out of control!) ... it's like they are letting it build up inside of them out in the real world, and then off-load it all here... at least, I HOPE those types don't act like that in real life too!
On the other hand, there is a LOT more positivity and friendship on these boards than there is negativity. I think sometimes just a little bit of negativity can get to people more than a large amount of positivity, which kind of sucks. Everyone's always complaining about the negative, but meanwhile the boards are in fact also brimming with positivity, and that seems like a better thing to focus on.

Oh my god, so many ideas just came to my mind for that commercial. And there is Comebackgirl walking along speaking in a really empathetic voice through my office, and pan to me, sitting at my desk crying because I have to work instead of keep going with my argument about how driving laws and gun laws aren't relatable, and at the same time come up with a new dream Pearl Jam setlist. Cut to you: "And you can stop this terrible suffering for less than it costs to buy a cup of coffee." :fp:
