    Are you anywhere close to Elk Grove? I remember when I worked over there going to this place on Higgins called Doggit...cheesy yes but they have the best greasiest burgers ever!

    sounds like tasty burger but im not close to EGV. i work right around foster/cicero rght off the edens. there are decent places around- east of edens, superdawg, etc.
    I would shoot down to Kedzie/Devon, take an hour lunch, and go to Whistlers.
    Sit down, have some soup, a nice corned beef sandwich, read the paper, a couple cups of coffee.
    Feel like a new man.
    Take me piece by piece.....

    it's a great place. i havent been there lately but i know they have this 100 year old man working there, bussing tables and saying hi- he's like their mascot. i wonder if he's still there....

    Better than Baker's Square!! There's a great place in Arlington Heights - Peggy Kinane's...amazing corned beef...too far for you for a lunch break tho.
