Interesting. Just curious, is anyone here not in favor of having a third part (and by that I'm sure is meant a strong third part since there are several more than just two already).
“The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man [or woman] who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.”
Variously credited to Mark Twain or Edward Abbey.

in Canada we have 3 major parties. some people like it but some don't. i am actually a fan of 3 parties but I have to admit that in the USA i don't think a major 3rd party would do anything.

I've read about a dam for Mitch McConnell in Kentucky that had an estimated build of $750M that they only approved $3B, and they sent deceased Frank Lautenberg's wife a check for $174,000.

Frank Lautenberg was worth an estimated $58M when he died.

I'm sure you can google more.

    here is some more.

Once again to understate why politicians have us pinned under their thumbnails ... In under a week a debate about "Duck Dynasty" has had over twice as many responses then a thread on the nation's debt ceiling has had in the last year.

And yesterday was the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Federal Reserve, an entity that has stolen more wealth from the middle class and the poor than anything else.

But yeah, people would rather get the old man fired for his beliefs, or debate if Santa is white or not.
