I don't know if this has been suggested... but I'd be happy to pay more for a shirt if proceeds went to a charity of one sort or another. It'd be a great way to take a stupid situation and make something good of it.
Righty-o, I've e-mailed him the design, and he's working out some prices (one with the server print on the front, and one with it on the back). Prices will depend on the amount of shirts we'll need, so he's going to also work out figures based on 25, 50, 75 and 100 shirts (we can always go less or more if needed) - the more people who want shirts, the cheaper they'll be
He did say he could probably give us a cheaper price if we don't mind his company name on the shirt in a discreet position - knowing John, it'll be at the bottom of the sleeve - but I'll leave that decision to others. (I guess it'll depend on how much they are without compared to with).
He'll also do some basic prices for badges too (as a rough guide he usually charges £15 for a hundred, so we can probably get those out really cheaply )
We're gigging tonight, so I should have some ballpark figures to post by then.

That sounds great! I personally think having the 'I Survived the 10C Server' on the front and the error message (503 - etc) on the back would be the coolest.
