Was that the guy that killed his friend who tried to snap a franchise QBs leg on the last play of the game?

It’s all just dumb. Not mad…or at least not nearly as mad as the guy who’s team won and called the refs cocksuckers and who wants nothing to do with a bridge

Guy who thinks you can’t tackle the qb on a Hail Mary. 🙃

I think Cliffy is just mad because he saw a glimpse of just how much better Saquan will be surrounded by superior talent.

Great win against a very good team.

September football is much more difficult to watch anymore. Sloppy as fuck. Go back to giving guys reps in the summer.

Hoping Hurt's sloppiness is more due to the lack of reps/new system. He did make some big plays though. Also saw we were in motion almost 70% of the time compared to 30% last year and his numbers were significantly better with motion. That is encouraging.

    Go Birds.

Also the new kickoff is fucking stupid. There's nothing dynamic about it.

I think they found a gold mine with Becton,  combined with Stoutland. Only have him on a 1 year deal, think they need to lock him up now.

I don't think they thought through having Jalen Brunson out there...

Jalen Hurts looks rough. Week 2 and I'm fine with starting the irrational anger for the starting quarterback.

Yup, NO pressure on the QB at all.

But, CATCH the football and that game is over.

    I thought he looked fine.

    Defensive line....completely different story.

Saquan has to catch that ball. It was the right call. He was WIDE open. No excuse.

He was winning with his legs, which is fine. But since the  2nd half of last season he has consistently come up small in big spots. Like the absolute worst decisions. And he hasn't gotten The Donovan Treatment up to this point yet, and it's now overdue.

This isn't to take away from the D Line. Awful stuff so far. And not to take the spotlight away from the dropped ball by Barkley.

At the end of the day the game was still completely winnable with 34 seconds left, and I thought that's what you pay franchise quarterbacks to do. Get to the 35 yard line and the game is won.

Totally. Cousins drove them down the field in one friggin minute. Hurts did the same thing last year against Seattle - brutal pick when trying to come back. I see QB's all over the league who can execute that drive.

I'm tired of Vic Fangio's stupid face already.

I don't know guys, on the list of things that went wrong last night the quarterback who completed 76% of his passes and ran for 85 yards is down on the list. That was more of the '22 Hurts and '23 version if you ask me. HAVING SAID THAT.....yeah, terrible throw at the end there. Rest of the game, though, I have no problems with how he played.

He made a perfect throw to Barkley who flat out dropped it. Game would have been over. I would have gone for it on 4th and 3. If you fail to convert, I think the Falcons are more in fg/tie mode as opposed to scoring a touchdown. The aggressive/not aggressive decision making was strange to me last night.

Bryce Huff looks like a huge mistake.

I had to get up early this morning so unfortunately I turned it off in the middle of the 3rd quarter. From what I saw (I was flipping back and forth between this, the Phillies and RAW), at times they looked real good especially in the first quarter, then others not so much.

I would like to say something else that bugged me last night....and I love the guy....but.....there's too much Kelce going around. He (and his brother) are fucking everywhere and it is pretty annoying.

That was Nick Foles' night. The god damned only Super Bowl MVP in franchise history. I did not see much of the pregame stuff, but during the game, I don't think they mentioned him once. He is the guy who should have been in the booth, not Jason. Again, I love the guy--but it's too much now.

I didn't even see a Foles highlight. Puzzling to me.

Yes, I'm ready to turn on Kelce. I thought last year was wayyy too much, and now it's been magnified x1000.

And I get the Jalen argument, absolutely. Defense and the head coach are huge problems. But Mahomes somehow pulls a rabbit out of his ass and they win on a field goal. That's what I would like to see once in a while. Seattle PTSD is strong for me, btw.

At the end of the game I didn't understand why he just, basically, flung the ball out there HOPING Smith would make a play. If I remember right, that bad throw/decision was just First Down? with 2 timeouts left? You have a great Kicker and you only needed 18?20? yards for a LONG FG attempt  and that's the least that should've happened. I  really thought Hurts was going to lead them down there and have a great chance at a reasonable FG attempt  to win the game.

Like we've all mentioned: That D-Front HAS to get at least some pressure on the QB or it might be a long season for The Birds.
