I received a "Go Birds" and a smile from this little old lady checking me out at Rite Aid this afternoon. All might not be lost.
Go Birds.
Happy New Year.
a cashier or some customer was "checking you out"?
it was a little old lady shopping for Depends. Juggler caught her eye.
Your granddaughter?
Because you're old, Wob.
but not as old as the “little old lady checking you out.”
If I had known then what I know now...

That was quite the hiatus after the Ravens game. I mean, it's fine, the Ravens are good. Everybody loses sometimes. Hope you're okay.
Back to us ever-suffering Philly phans. This Matt Patricia thing worked out every bit as disastrously as every one of us anticipated when they hired that clown in the offseason. I'm not gonna get into societal issues, but people like that guy continuously failing up are so damn frustrating.

Tampa Bay is probably the one team in the playoffs we can beat. Will it happen? Probably not, especially with our defense struggling and all the injuries we have

I almost think they will beat them just to torture us a little more. But then, that defense is the most pathetic thing I've ever seen. And the offense hasn't the slightest clue how to beat a blitz.

depends which TB team shows up. Baker looked like Joe Montana against green bay. mike evans (of my championship FF team) can be a beast. and chris godwin.

Carson Wentz just sent his team into the playoffs with a win while the guy who replaced him went 1-5 down the stretch and led the NFL in turnovers.
Didn't Josh Allen lead the NFL in turnovers?
edit: apparently it was Sam Howell who led the league in turnovers. Hurts was 4th and Josh Allen was 2nd

Lol
This guy's team might win the actual Super Bowl this year....yet in his mind, we all know it will be overshadowed by an early December win verses The Philadelphia Eagles.
Saw someone mention this on twitter. Seems as if the closest comparison to what happened to the Eagles this year happened to the Eagles in 1981.
Coming of a Super Bowl loss...started 9-2, finished 10-6. Eerily similar and I feel like I have heard next to nothing about that team over my lifetime.

As opposed to the Patriots, who indeed lost to your beloved Eagles a million or so years ago, who returned the very next year to not only get in the Super Bowl but to win it. Imagine that? Particularly after beginning the previous decade by winning three within four years. Imagine that glory? As a fan?

Tell us, yet again, that you are not obsessed with THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES, without telling us, yet again, that you are not obsessed with THE PHILADELPLHIA EAGLES.

The self own's are really just piling up, fax.
Tell us you’d like to feel that feeling of being a fan of a team as great as the patriots were for the preceding two decades and what it would have felt like to return to the Super Bowl after vanquishing the mighty patriots and win another ring? Oh, remember that feeling you had a million years ago? Savor it, as it may be another million or so years before you feel it again.
Yea, I’m obsessed because it’s like the PTAPE, real but not really.

All those Super Bowls....yet, here you are, still obsessed with that one devastating loss to THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES.

Yes 3rd year they've done it now. 2022 Rams beat Cards on Monday (and went on to win Superb Owl dashing the cries of playing on Monday being unfair), 2023 Cowboys beat Tampa Bay.

Totally forgot about the Rams. Second year in a row for Tampa is weird.
The Sydney Brown injury is really frustrating. The kid was one of the bright-ish spots and someone they wanted to count on to start at safety next year...probably out till Sept or Oct of next year plus missing offseason workouts. Rough timing.
I'm sure the fact that it's Monday night plays a factor but this is the least hyped playoff game I can remember since the one against San Fran in '96. Just a weird week.
