not too shocking that a mickey mouse organization like AZ couldn’t properly prepare a field for the SUPER BOWL.

has there been a more whiny ass bitch team that got their ass kicked then the Niners? Now McCaffery spewing it was stolen from them. Stolen because your QBs got knocked out? It's not like they couldn't play because of Covid protocols or something. Have fun watching the Birds win it all on Sunday and whine about what could have been.
the week has been slowly building up. I am getting more pumped by the day. Tomorrow is going to be a very unproductive work day. Go Birds.

That was a BS call, especially since they let them play the whole game. But, that's not what why the Birds lost.
we’ll never know….but w/o that BS call, the iggles still have 1:40ish left and need only a FG to tie.

We choked. 10 point lead at half with the better team and lost. Terrible call at end but shouldn’t have come to that. Defense sucked and cant fumble unguarded for a td. Extremely disappointing. And I imagine the Andy haters will be silent.
We’ve given up 71 in the last two Super Bowls. And we won one of those. Crazy
Edit: unlike the Niners our guy admitted he held the guy on the penalty call at the end
2023 schedule has a murderers row of elite QB's (including Mr. Mahomes again). Very much unlike the 2022 schedule. I am hoping against hope they get rid of Gannon. (or someone hires him - I mean I have no idea why they would but a guy can hope)
I stand by that that penalty was disgraceful and absolutely cost us a shot at winning, but I'll just say this Jenkins back judge whatever guy may have been quite surprised to see an Eagles DB actually being close enough to a Chiefs receiver to touch him.

I'm a tad disappointed. Two plays stood out for me that did us in were the Hurts fumble and that line drive punt which the dude almost ran it back for a TD. Not really blaming the refs, although that non call was very questionable. Not sure what happened with our defense though? I don't think we got a sack on Mahomes and barely got to him at all.
Guess @The Juggler can change the thread to something a long the lines of playing in the last two entertaining Super Bowls.

Never would have thought we'd lose if up 10 at halftime but my worst case scenario of Mahomes having the ball last unfolded in nightmarish fashion.
Kudos to the Chefs for making the right adjustments and finding a way to expose our run defense kryptonite again. That hasn't been a problem for months until last night.
The Hurts fumble....my goodness. I was arguing with a friend who said it was a dumb play call. Bullshit, sometimes shit just happens. They've made calls like that all year long. Hurts just dropped before the defender got to him. I don't think that happened once all season. I LOVED them going right back to a Hurts run next series though. But man, I was certain we were marching down the field to take a 21-7 lead at that point.
No pass rush. Red zone defense was garbage. The Bradberry call was technically correct but it's like getting pulled over for going 56 in a 55 zone. You can call some form of holding on just about every play. To have the Super Bowl be decided on a call like that, with a pass that would not have even be catchable is going to sting for years.
Proud of this team and how far they've come. And I do believe the future is bright, even with all the pending free agents...but man this is an all timer.
Oh and Jalen Hurts being a "system qb?" I think we can end that nonsense. lol. Dude is a fucking superstar.
Dude played the game of his life, even including the fumble. He went and scored 8 points right when they needed it. 300yds, pass td, 3 rush td? Goodness. If I tell you they score 35 points in the Super Bowl then you know it's a win. Don't want to live in ifs but if that Bradberry call doesn't happen I'm fairly convinced Hurts marches them to a TD in 100 seconds.
Frustrating plays for me (outside of the fumble) was giving up that ridiculous punt return like that, not going for it on 4th & 2 and punting to "protect" the lead (don't care that they were on their own side of the field, need to go for it there), and just being absolutely outworked/coached on those two wide open TDs by KC.
Had the two best teams in the league play in the final game, can't ask for more. KC has the best player in the world and it showed.
EDIT: Gonna be most likely a completely different team next year:
I don’t mind those holding calls if it looks like the hold prevented a catch, but I don’t think that ball was catchable…it’s like when a RB busts a long run and they call it back for a hold that in no way affected the play.
If I had known then what I know now...

Holding is almost always one of those "call it when they feel like calling it" penalties - like when the tackle tackles the DE after he gets around him - obvious holding. This penalty was totally lame and out of sync with how the game was called.
When will I get over it? IDK - actuarially I've got about 40 years left, so sometime around 2063 when they compost me.

the two-point conversion run was a great run. Probably should have been stopped on it but he finished it.
One delay of game and one had to waste a timeout were frustrating. Another frustrating play was Watkins not catching the pass before the Goedart non-catch that they gave us.
But the big question is which one of you guys didn't sit in the right spot or wear the correct jersey? that had to make a difference.
Hurts 16-2 with hideous referee calls stealing away his chance to come back in both of the losses. Although people here are fine with those calls. Lay the Hawks on me folks.

I mean I'm not fine with the call, but isn't going to be the first thing I'm annoyed about. Gotta be perfect in this game. If Butker makes the field goal, and Hurts doesn't fumble that's still a net +4 swing in the score toward the Birds.
More than anything it's just a goddamn shame that a great game is decided by a QB kneel due to an official in the final 2 minutes of a game. At the same time Birds had plenty of times to pull away, but the defense came up as absolute limp dicks in the 2nd half.
