    damn good win last night. 2-0 and don't think the offense has played very well yet. Other than Sproles and McCoy at times i don't think they've been all that impressive. Foles hasn't been nearly as accurate with his throws in the 2 games as he was last year and the receivers have dropped too many. have some concerns with the receivers.

    defense played well last night. thanks Indy for running the ball on 1st and 2nd down on their last drive. dumb football there.

    unless some major injuries occur can't see how this team isn't winning this division

    as for the non pass interference/holding calls it's not surprising they've reverted back to calling it when they feel like it. the interception was a gift but heck we will take it.

    haha. he's been inactive for both games this year and barely made the team.


    biggest takeaway for me after last night was that the eagles are not playing close to how good they can, offense especially, and they beat a good team, on the road, on monday night. very impressive. for how inconsistent they've been, the offense is ranked 1st in points and yards so far. imagine what they will be like when they start humming on all cylinders...

    so kendricks missed practice and is day to day....all in all, good news that it's nothing serious. also huff and tobin practiced for the first time today.

    What sucks is the depth. Kendricks day-to-day, sure, sounds ok as opposed to long-term, but they can't even afford to lose one of these LB's for a game.

    najee goode going down in week 1 was a pretty big blow. looks like kendricks will most likely not play at this point.

    Also lost LB Travis Long in the last preseason game, which is the only reason Matthews made the team.

    Your dislike for Chip is insane. I bet you were ok with the trash Reid had at Wr for all those years though. Just say I love Reid and wish his bad coaching style/adjustments was still in town. Kelly has done nothing but improve this team,yet you act like he's a clown.

    yeah i don't get what he's talking about. najee goode proved to be a capable enough backup middle lb last year, especially when kedricks missed that one game.

    they can't afford to have kendricks out for an extended period of time. both him and cox have elevated their games this year....big loss. i'm a little nervous about sunday.

    yeah i don't get what he's talking about. najee goode proved to be a capable enough backup middle lb last year, especially when kedricks missed that one game.

    huh? every pundit before the season said the Eagles lack of depth at linebacker was a concern but somehow when I say it it's something else? please. it's a legitimate concern that everyone has not just me.

    and I don't hate Chip Kelly as a coach. I hate the stunning adulation that the media and many of the fans have given the guy to this point. for a guy who has yet to win a playoff game he sure is treated with kid gloves and treated like a hall of fame coach. apparently he is above being criticized. I should have known I guess.

    "every" pundit didn't talk about the lack of depth until travis long got hurt right before the season started. had he and goode stayed healthy, the eagles would have enjoyed the luxury of a couple decent backup lb's, with long being able to fill in on the outside and the inside. most teams actually do not have that luxury.

    and nobody is above being criticized but at least give a legit criticism, like maybe for the marcus smith pick, an outside lb. hopefully the d continues to play better and they end up not really needing too much out of him until next year. but you want production out of your first round pick in his first year, no doubt.

    at this point in reid's tenure, he was receiving similiar adulation for turning around a dead in the water franchise. it is the same thing with chip, only chip is seen more as an innovator than big red. and the national guys love chip too. the local media was just ahead of the curve last year.

    enjoy these times, man. the birds are finally moving in the right direction.

    I don't think you judge a draft or draft picks for about 2 years.

    Reid won 5 games his 1st year. no one was calling him a geniusa 2 games into his 2nd year.

    and I have enjoyed it. winning games is good. hope they can keep it going.
