    the more i think about this team and their schedule, the more optimistic i'm getting. assuming good health, i'm thinking 10-6.

    i originally was thinking 3-3 going into the bye (even though they stink, i see them splitting with the giants).....but now think they can upset either the colts or niners. i think it's the niners. san fran had a rough off season, has looked horrible this summer, and has injury and suspension issues. think the birds can steal one there.

    they should be favored in their next 3 games, but think they will drop one of them, probably arizona. so now they're 6-3 and should be favored in all of their remaining games except for green bay and seattle.....got a funny feeling about that late saturday game in dc--might be one of those flukey games they lose after having the division locked up. 10-6.....maybe 11-5 if they have a shot at bye heading into dc.

    i look for foles' numbers coming back to life but still around 31tds, 13ints, 3,800 yards, 64% comp. i'll take that. guy makes good decisions in the pocket. if he can put up these kinds of numbers and gets the ball out of his hands a smidge earlier, look for a contract extension at some point soon.

    shady should get you around 1500 yards and 10 tds, while being a leading mvp candidate.

    ertz is poised for a monster breakout season...obviously wanna see mathews emerge as a big, dependable target (especially redzone) as season goes on.

    defense...if the offense can be as good as i imagine, as long as they are mediocre it should be good enough (i'm betting on them leading a lot of their games, which will take the pressure off). gotta get more pressure on the qb without blitzing. gotta get off the field on 3rd downs. wanna see kendricks emerge as a pro bowl caliber lb and become that play maker the birds haven't had since 2008. boykin is a stud in the nickle. i like the jenkins signing. also like carrol providing depth. interested in seeing what beau allen does if given some pt. and marcus smith--show me something when given the chance.

    special teams should be improved. not sure how much of an upgrade parkey will be over henery but henery had to go...would not surprise me if they went through a couple different kickers when all said and done.

    this is year 2. next year is the super bowl or bust year for me. just want to see them win the division again and get that first playoff win in 6 years. in today's nfl, parity rules. be playing your best at the end of the season, get in and anything can happen.

    The worst. When I first moved here I remember some jagoffs chanting it in the lobby of a movie theater. A FUCKING MOVIE THEATER. Needless to say, I was quite confused.
