Thanks everyone. It was very special, a memory of a lifetime. I showed my wife the video and pic posted (thanks, any more would be greatly appreciated) and she thought it was so cool. My boys were still sleeping when I went to work this morning so they'll see it when they get up.

my friends in the first row of the balcony have a video of the whole thing, they are on the road for a few weeks, but if you are still haven't found someone with video of your trip to the stage by then i can send one your way.

Thanks newfiegirl (my parents are newfs!). If you could get that video to me, I would really appreciate it. gizzo@sportplanet.com.

I'm loving all these stories! :)

Too bad I wont be seeing any Ed solos.... anyone have extra plane ticket from Finland to Canada/USA and a concert ticket ? :D No? ... damn. :( benefits of living so far away.

Hoping to read more stories like this in the near future.

    :)
Won't let the light escape from me.
Won't let the darkness swallow me.
  • Dont forget later on someone said "Let Ralph sing the next song", to which EV responded "There is not enough beer in all of f'in Canada for that to happen" however after he said "Just joking, I am sure he has a lovely voice....at home....where it should stay" Something to that effect. hehe

I ask him if he could please come back to the Kitchener area and I gave him a kiss on the cheek because I RESPECT him so much for what he does for the good of the world. Is that bad? Haha!

Thats nice that you got up on stage when he was visibly telling you stay down on the floor.

If you respected him so much, you would not have been drawing attention to yourself all night and disrupting the show for others. Thank you for shutting up after you got your beer, the rest of us appreciated it.
    I went to the concert
And I fought through the crowd
Guess I got a little too excited
When I thought you were around

He asked me to come up, the security guy helped me up onto the stage.

Drawing attention? I was pumped - I never yelled once all night (like some). Guess you haven't had your coffee (or meds) today.

Sour is no way to go through life, but if that makes you happy - all the power to you. Nothing can ruin the moment that I had. :)

Am I missing something or did Eddie not go grab 2 beer and ask for Ralph to drink one with him?

    Easy there killer...
Eddie ordered 2 beers from the back that night...So it's safe to say that Ralph was welcome on stage.

I agree with the above posts, wherein Ralph in no way was annoying or disrupting the show for the audience, or Eddie for that matter. It surely seemed mutual from where I was...The kiss was hilarious.

haha you should have SEEN him kiss him on the cheek. I think Ed was a little sketched out by that, Ralph!

welllllllllll, Ed did motion several times for Ralph NOT to get on stage, and he didn't look quite comfortable during the kiss...Ed handled it well and turned it into "a moment", showman that he is. Can't deny it was a cool moment for Ralph, but I'm glad that we were able to get back to focusing on Ed after it happened. White pants

    Just sayin...

Montreal shows were amazing, I have nothing bad to say about them.
