Montreal 2 - I am Ralph ... my experience

Ok ...

I just got back home from Montreal (I live in Waterloo) ... long 2 days but fun.

A. My friend Rob and I go to the concert.

2. I've been a 10C member for years, I go to the ticket window crossing my fingers that we have good seats - I end up with CC - 9 and 11!!!!!! Am i excited? Ummm ... going nuts.

C. We see Liam Finn in the parking lot taking pictures with people - what a great, sweet guy.

4. We watch some of his show and freak at the location of our seats - cool.

D. Pints at a bar close by - happy hour, sweet.

5. We sit in our seats for Eddie and start to enjoy the show.

E. 3 songs in (it's all a blur by now) the fans are sitting on their collective hands!

6. I get up pissed off and turn to the crowd - get up! let's rock this song!! And everyone is finally going ballistic - for at least one song.

F. Apparently, as my buddy Rob says, Eddie says - "Who's Eddie Bernstein down there? " Anyways.

7. The place goes nuts - as it should- and Eddie gives me some props as my back is turned, unexpectedly. He turns to me and says - ** I'm fuzzy so change if you remember better than me **

"What do you want" after that display of craziness. I said ... "I just want to have a beer with you man - that's all"

G. ... He says ... "Whats your name" - I say Ralph (ok, stop laughing) and he says "What do you want?" I said - "Just to have a beer with you man." So he sends a dude back to grab 2 Heinekens. The beers come out and I shuffle my ass up to hang with EDDIE VEDDER!!!! The beautiful crowd is freaking at this point and I'm soaking it up as I look out (I'm normally quite shy and was shaking while up there people.)

8. I ask him if he could please come back to the Kitchener area and I gave him a kiss on the cheek because I RESPECT him so much for what he does for the good of the world. Is that bad? Haha!

Anyways, any extra input from you guys would be appreciated as, you can well imagine, it was a blur for me. Also, any pictures or video would really appreciated.

Im ... Am ... Ralph!!!

    I figured ... thanks man.

Now, how can I get pics/vids of this cool event to show my boys? I got home and they were saying "I heard you were on the stage with Eddie Vedder!"
How cool is that? My boys and wife ROCK ... AND ROLL

Good on ya Ralph! This is sure to become legendary amongst Vedder fans and certainly unforgettable to Ed himself. The little bit we were able to read about it last night made me want to hear more...some guy kissing Ed on the cheek..what's this all about?! Reading your first hand account gives me a huge smile.

Thanks for your positive energy, friend. You totally deserved your moment in the spotlight!

Very nice, thanks for the story Ralph. We are all just jealous because us guys all know we have a slight man crush on Eddie.8-) At least this gives me a little hope that this may magically happen to me in DC on Saturday. Wishful thinking...Rock On!

Would have loved to have seen all of this, I was there the night before. That's what's great about the Ed Solo shows; they're small enough to really get the audience involved. I really love that.
