sure mine was Amsterdam 2....unreal show,the band-fans-setlist....

    Well, I only have the Manchester shows to choose from and they were both full of great moments. The Why Can't I Touch It improv into Immortality on night 1 would have been my highlight if Ed hadn't had guitar issues that killed the momentum so I'll choose Off He Goes from night 2. It was a beautiful moment in a crazy setlist and I'd longed to hear it live. Present Tense was amazing that night too and Hitchhiker was a priviledge to see for it's first and only appearance so far... :D

    This summer was the first time i traveled to see the band. I met a lot of wonderful people that i can now consider them as good friends and that is my best memory for 2012 .

    My best Pearl Jam moment?
    Seriously, it was the fact that there wasnt a Pearl Jam moment.
    Hear me out, on this one.

    I am proud of myself for not traveling to Florida, Philly, or Montana. I am happy that over the last 4-5 years I have been able to break my "Pearl Jam traveling addiction". Dont get me wrong, I had fun over the years, but traveling to shows is something I no longer need to do. I am happy that many of you older fans still experience nothing but "Pure Joy", when traveling to see the band. I am thrilled for the newer fans, who are traveling to see the band for the 1st time. I hope you all get to see 10-20 shows in 2013. But for me, I am just happy that I was able to beat my little traveling addiction. If Pearl Jam comes to Chicago or Alpine in the near future, I will see you all at the shows. Until then, Have fun!
    Take me piece by piece.....

    I passed on the 2010 tour
    I didnt go to any of the few shows in 2012.

    Im actually very proud of myself. Yes we are getting older.

    But all the power to anyone who still gets that 'excitement', from traveling and seeing the band.

    Being in Vegas for Ed's incredible solo shows and participating in Black along with the rest the crowd, Ed, and Boom was simply incredible.

    Traveling to Atlanta to see PJ with some special people and going straight from the airport to the venue to wait in line and then go through 12 gruesome hours of standing and waiting to get on the rail right in front of Mike for my first PJ festival experience was awesome too. Will never do it again.

    Made a lot more friends on here and at the shows. It was a great year for me and PJ. Here's to hoping for a new album, a nice US tour, a nice two day weekend show at the Gorge, and Alpine boots in 2013! :mrgreen:

    Only saw them at MIA so the best moment there was WMA and then the wackiness that was Jay Z on stage with them.

    I did get a kick out of being on the Amsterdam 2 thread while it was going and marveling at the crazy set-list with many other board members who wished we were there....that was a great time sitting at my desk ignoring my work and imagining being there. :lol:

    At MIA, a woman, who traveled from Brazil, somehow made it through the sea of humanity and managed to end up next to me on the rail. It was an honor to hang her flag over the guardrail and watch her enjoy the boys from up close.


    Alternatively, having Ed pour a little wine on some of us wasn't too bad either.

    I went to Deluna, Atl and 5 Ed Shows. I actually travel more now that I'm older because I have the means and I appreciate what they do even more. I don't take it for granted that there'll be another tour.

    Having said that, being at Clearwater night 2 to see the last show of the solo tour and how emotional Ed and Glen were at potentially not touring again was amazing. I'll never forget it.

    Also I took my mom to the Memphis show and to see how Ed and Glen affected her was awesome too. So that's a close second.
