I have collected autographs of my heroes (sports, music, movies, etc.) for many years. I never ask for more than one and always try to get it personalized so the signer knows it will be kept and not sold. That usually designates to them I am a fan. The ebayers are those guys who have stacks of stuff and you can tell they didn't even attend the event. I am sure it will be 10x's harder in LA as this is the autograph/papparazzi mecca. I hope those assholes don't ruin it for us fans because it sounds like he makes time after each show for those who stick it out and wait.

I to have been collecting for almost 20 years and i have never sold anything . I was at the van shows both nights and the last one had the great chance to meet eddie i have met everyone in pearl jam several times and they have always been great talking signing taking pics i like to try and get complete stuff signed and seeing i have met them all alot of times i have alot of stuff signed, that doest have ed on it. The only time i go for autos is if i am going to the show like roger waters ,vanhalen the flood relief show all the flight to mars shows, velvet revolver , les claypool all theses recent shows i have bought tickets for with the way ticket prices are and how much they charge u if i can get a chance to meet them after the show FOR FREE and get stuff signed then u should do it and all the shows i have gone to i usually meet them get a auto and if i have time a pic to rember that moment. Or even have a chance for that short conversation it is worth it not all of us that get autographs are ebayers, even if people sell some stuff on ebay what is the differance people paying 80 dollars a ticket with a fucking service fees up the ass they are making a profit off the artist and the artist is making a profit off us it is all the circle of life.

Here, help yourself. Take whatever you need and feel free to use them generously.
For those who scoff at "Jamily" in my name... 9 years ago, when my first daughter was born there were jokes about whether my priority would be my family or PJ. I smiled and quipped "I am a JamilyMan." What was a family joke became a hated term among jammers. Didn't see that one coming!

There were a few at Vancouver who had about 10 things each to sign. I questioned why they felt it was OK to hog so much of a Ed's time when so many others jusr wanted to meet him or have one thing signed before getting out of the way for other fans have their chance. Of course one guy got defensive (and rightly so) but didn't seem to understand that true fans who would cherish an autograph or a moment and not make money off of him should have equal opportunity. He also got really angry and whiny when he thought some girl had "ruined it for everyone!! Way to go stupid BITCH!" It really wasn't my place to question their intentions...yeah, yeah, free enterprize, capitalist society, etc...

Ed went out the front door apparently and not the stage door. Such is life.

In response to your quote, I was the one who said that because that stupid DRUNK bitch was pulling on the Denali's door handle trying to get inside the car and she kept walking in and out of the back door. So YES, she was being a STUPID BITCH. I have been getting autographs for my own personal collection for over 20 years (NOT FOR EBAY!!!) and I have seen what happens when you have stupid people like this around. Why would a singer or other celebrity want to come out and say "hi" to fans when they have to deal with people like this girl. Did you ever think that this is why he went out the front door that first night in Vancouver?!?! I have seen this happen and the security gets awefully thick and make sure that fans or not get no AUTOS that night! So, yes I did say something. I wanted to see Eddie that night, and she is probably the reason none of us did!! (And to the person who commented on my punctuation, I hope this is much easier for you to read asshole!!!!)
