This was my first EV show and I really enjoyed it. Eddie, Glen, and Chan put on a great show. After the music my favorite part was Eddie comparing the Broward Center to the Cameo Theatre on Miami Beach.Which is where where my brother, one of his fellow Miami Beach firefighters and I saw our first of many PJ shows, April 23,'92. We saw Eddie do the back first jump, from around 10 feet or more up, into the crowd that he mentioned. We are lucky that he survived those crazy days and is still singing well and rocking strong!

  • In my area the crowd wasn't so bad yelling (though the Patriots asshole made me embarrassed to be from Boston). But the people around me would not STOP with the cameras and cell phones all night long. By the end of the night I was seeing spots from the flashes and glowing screens. I was in the third row (probably will never happen again) and now kinda wish I had snapped a pic too but I wanted to respect the rules. Silly me.

Regardless of the "look at me" assholes, it was an amazing show. I just about died when he sang Good Woman...saw it was done in a couple earlier cities and was hoping to hear it! Wish I had been able to make night 2!!

    5. I met the man last night (see pic). Super nice guy with an amazing memory. He was sharing memories with each person backstage, remembering events that happened years ago like it was yesterday. Here's to starting a new one with me.

Thank you for changing by not changing at all.
    Awesome!

i thought the show was FANTASTIC....but whats up with the tickets for ten clubbers? I about shit when I opened my envelope and they had the words "upper orchestra"..i was stunned...all the ten clubbers were peeved...i was hoping for front row or at least first ten rows..shit, anywhere in the first teir orchestra! I would have been better off with the general public sale...and there were a lot of drunk idiots...i cant stand the crowds down here..they just suck. period! they all need to go to detroit and see how a real veteran concert crowd acts...and fuck the patriots! that guy should have been booted immediately...

anyway, i figured ten club members got some sort of priority...what up with that Kat?

its all good..like i said, it was a great show overall...

Soundgarden is up next...flyin up to detroit...they dont come here, i fly to them....end of January in Michigan..I gotta be outta my mind!

Amen! Almost all of the shows I attend are up North. Pensacola - crap. I'll never go back to DeLuna fest. Ever. But I digress....See you next month for Soundgarden here in Detroit!

I bought tix through public purchase and got decent seats. The second night was even worse. There was some MORON screaming "BETTER MAN! BETTER MAN! PLAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY BETTER MAAAAAAAAAAN!" Ugh. If that guy is reading this, stop everything you're doing. Just stop. Sometimes I hate people. Other than that, fantastic shows. Can't wait for the next round of whatever I can get.
    I've been to some shows...

Hmm, someone remind me why PJ doesn't play the South? Or the U.S.? Remind me again why they prefer to play Europe so much more than the U.S.? Oh yeah, because even a small, intimate largely acoustic show is packed with loud, drunk, entitled douchebags. Almost every fanview of this tour has had these stories. How embarrassing. So glad I wasn't at these shows. Hopefully I'll catch Ed in Europe sometime. Doubt that he'll continue to do this type of thing in the U.S. Why bother? WTF is wrong with the average American? (And please don't say, "If you don't like it, leave." That's EXACTLY what I did and why I did it.)

Don't be a fool. The show was awesome. The crowd was raucous but fine. I was at both Amsterdam shows as well as Arras and trust me, there were plenty of assholes at those shows. The only people complaining are anal retentive losers who get their panties in a bunch if someone gets a little too excited. Relax and you'll actually enjoy yourself. It's really hard not to when Ed is snging. If you missed this show the loss is yours. It was an incredible night.
i thin i remember u at Amsterdam show..you rock your ass out.. ;)
hi Joe..hope u enjoy the shows!!!

Yup - that was me. We missed you out here Dimitri. Next time...

By the way, my wife, Jen, finally met Eddie. What a way to cap 2 incredible nights in FTL.

I know Ed played Girl from the North Country during Night 2 but I swore he played it during night #1 also,..... but I'm not seeing it in the setlists.

    any one else hear it?
