Great show, loved being so close to Ed in that relatively intimate setting. Agree the crowd was a bit disappointing -- lots of flashes going off to boot.
Anyone know the story behind the set? The golden, winged statue in the background? The lab coats on the stage hands (and later on Ed too)?
I was honored to finally met Eddie after the show and shake his hand. I thought about meeting him many times and what I would say to him, but all I could say was " Thank You!" and he moved on. He greeted everyone waiting for him. Thank you Eddie for taking time to say Hi to everyone and for two great nights!

Ed told the story of the winged statue at one of the UK gigs (London 1 I think) but I can't remember the details. I seem to remember he brings it on tour to commemorate a friend.
Both Orlando shows were great - well worth the 4000-odd mile trip from the UK. I'm going to do my best to come over for the next Pearl Jam tour - such a friendly crowd - just a shame about the flashes, and on night 1 the 'Leftover guy'.

Any you fans that wanted or didn't know about the signed EV poster's for Orlando night 2 (or Jacksonville night 1) here is your chance...and for a good cause. If you comment or bump I will send you a pm with the links when they are up.

I've thought about it too and came to the exact same conclusion you did -- 'Thank you' is about all I could probably pull off w/o coming off like a bubbling idiot fanboy.
