Awesome show! Great set list!!
I had the mashed potato guy in the next row behind me..very loud..talked the whole show..apparently not even in his correct seat. I asked him to be quiet twice but it only made him more obnoxious...
Then I had the guy standing up with his arms spread out a few rows in front of me..and then there was the glass bottles falling to the floor all nite..:/
The show was incredible...
My experience at Bob Carr not so much..
I could not believe how often people were leaving to get drinks or go to the restroom..it was a big distraction..between having to get up every second or having people in front of me getting up to let someone get by..and every time someone went out the light from the lobby would shine in..I'm all for enjoying a few cocktails but when I spend almost $100 for a ticket I would like to be able to enjoy the show..I couldn't understand why people would come to see Ed and leave the room so often ..
I was sad because it was really difficult to focus. And this was my first Ed solo tour
And its been a few years since I've seen PJ..Had tickets for the Georgia show a few months back but was sick and couldn't take the trip ..
Going to Lauderdale tomorrow nite and hoping to have a better experience.0 -
There were no glass anything....aluminum beer bottles, plastic wine glasses and plastic cups. What is more annoying is somebody spilling their drink on a $35 poster..and not saying shit about it.0

Unbeliveable Show!
I hope Eddie reads this because I was almost in tears listening to him talk about the dark place and the noose. I can't even imagine how I could have gotten through my own dark places without PJ and Eddie. My favorite saying is "Eddie Vedder makes it all better". So many times Eddie's voice has brought me back.
I was so happy to hear Black and Wishlist. I cried all the way through Black, it hits me on such a deep level.
My husband and I floated all the way home. Please come back to central Florida soon and bring the rest of the band!0 -
Glass.. Aluminum.. It was still loud and distracting every time someone threw one on the floor or kicked one..
So sorry to hear about your poster

WOW, this was my first solo show and it was awesome! wished he would have done Given to Fly, but can't complain too much with songs like Black, Crazy Mary and Hard Sun! dragged my hubby along and even he commented on what an amazing talent Eddie is!!
Duh!! we all already knew that!!
I'd like to change your quote to " Pearl Jam makes it all better" I can't go a day without listening!
Can't Thank you enough Eddie!!Later, Lolly0 -

I am ashamed to say this was my first Eddie concert. After Eddie's performance this night, I can't believe I waited this long. I have adored this band since high school and I can time my young adult life to what song was playing at the time. Just never got the chance. Eddie if your reading this, I owe you an apology...There was a hand full of people outside your tour bus on the 27th. You looked as if you were going to come over. I did the typical amateur move, and screamed Eddie I love you!! Please play Crazy mary!! Then you took the Turn inside. Being a reserved and soft spoken person, I shocked myself and pissed my off my husband. The thought that you might of come over and I could have told you how I really feel.. Well the only thing that is consoling me is your amazing performance and you did play crazy mary. Knowing this is not often played I have convinced myself you played it for the psycho by the tour bus. What I really wanted to say is you shaped the music and made my generation (X)!! Now as I am nearing 40 with two kids, the husband, house, dog..DULL you made my husband and I feel 18 again, when we listened to all your tapes driving the pacific coast to yosemite. Anyway The concert took our mundane life and left us speechless and mind blown for two days. We are not fanatics or groupies, I just joined this sight today. But we left your concert with a message, I think you said "live life and live it long". We are going to do that and find a way out of monotony.0

Flew down from Ohio to use my Ten Club tickets and go to the show with a friend that lives within walking distance of Bob Carr. Glad I did as Eddie always puts on a great show.
At some point during the show Eddie mentioned how life sometimes moves at the "speed of sound." I got very excited at the prospect that he might play it and I restrained myself from yelling out - hoping he might talk a little about the song - but it was all for naught. It's a great song, especially the solo version, and I wish he'd play it more. Maybe next time!
And on a side note, I hope sometime down the line Eddie comes to play Toledo! The Valentine Theatre is beautiful and very intimate. Just a thought...0 -

I agree! - I made the trek down to Orlando from Port Clinton and it was worth it, but I'd love for him to play that close to home. The Valentine Theatre is a pretty spectacular venue!Blossom Music Center - Aug 26, 1998
Quicken Loans Arena - May 09, 2010
Fox Theatre - June 26, 2011 (EV solo)
Air Canada Centre - September 12, 20110 -

Wow! Great set list. Would've loved to hear Black. I Wish I could've gone to the FL shows too

If anybody had an extra postcard from Orlando they are looking to sell, please let me know. I have an Austin I can swap, or I will buy it.
Thanks

We flew down from the shores of Lake Michigan with dreams of a great show. My first go round with this guy was PJ20 Alpine Valley, what a night! I was hooked on the live stuff the second Release was over. Why had I waited so long? Anyway, a whole paycheck handed over to some greedy bastard at vivid seats got my two second row, what appeared to be center stage even though it doesn't exist, tickets. When I find my seat number and look up the mic stand is about 8 feet from my face, this is going to be great. Glen Hansard comes out shortly after I get comfortable in the plush velvet seat and he f'ing rocks. At one point he is strumming his guitar so fast that is hand is a blur! After several great songs that induce foot stomping and a broken guitar string he's off. A short time later the man of the hour came out, I pulled up on my seat harness so the attendant knew I was ready for the ride ahead. Every song played was better than the last! He left no stone unturned that night. And Black, are you kidding me? Just when I think it can't get any better,Eddie and Glen are standing at the edge of the stage singing with no mic, just raw talent. For the last of the songs I was lucky enough to be standing at the stage. I wanted to reach out and touch his boot but the fear of ejection kept my hands in the air. After Hard sun he tried to say Goodnight but we wanted more. He relented and gave us a beautiful Dream a little dream. One of those nights that will be tucked away to remember always. Oh yeah, I almost forgot... fuck you leftovers for trying to ruin it for the rest of us!!
Thanks for the great show Eddie!0
