    recipe please :)

    So easy...

1 piece pumpkin pie..cut into chunks small enough for your blender...include the crust!
Vanilla ice cream...I reccomend Breyer's vanilla bean
a little milk..depending on how thick you like it.. ;)
    cinnamon to taste

    And blend! :D
I will be enjoying one of these on Friday :D Maybe even add a little alcohol

It doesn't sound like a "sweet" dish to me. Sounds fucking gross in all honestly.

Next person coming to Australia is bringing me some!

Fresh pumpkin is the only way to go!!!! Get loads during the season, cut up, bake in the oven bringing out it's natural sweetness, whiz up in the blender and freeze in 'recipe' portions. You have some all year long then to use as you wish for pie, bread, cheesecake (which I will try!), etc.

You've never had pumpkin pie?! :o You have not lived!

It is the single most delicious pie ever, second maybe only to chocolate pie. SO GOOD. You must try some. I'm totally bringing you a slice if I ever go back to Australia. Kinda feel compelled to go there now just for that reason alone! (well, that and I know it's becoming winter here and summer there ...)

Vodka or golden/amber rum. Vodka goes well with the spices.

We use bourbon in ours. It's funny how you put a little in the pie, pour a little in a glass - just to make sure it tastes okay. Add some more to the pie. More to your glass.

You get the idea. I love Thanksgiving.

That's the whole purpose of cooking with alcohol, whether spirits, beer, wine...
