Don't eat popcorn too often, but just popped up some Newman's Butter Boom. Not bad, but nothing compares to popcorn they have at the Michigan Theater!

I couldn't taste any bacony flavor in that stuff. Of course it's been a long while since I tried it so maybe they've changed it up? either way i wasn't a fan.
I wanted to learn how to make popcorn at home on the stovetop. But I don't want to commit to buying a whole tub of kernels that end up going to waste because I failed.
Anyway, this stuff is really the best popcorn ever to exist:

as for making it on teh stove...take a pot....put in some oil...toss in some corn and heat it up. as they start to pop...shake the pot back and forth.
I love popcorn.
But I do remember one day I was in the car with my girlfriend (ex-g/f now), and her 2.5 year old daughter was in the back asking for jelly beans. We had a bag of those weird flavored jelly beans... I gave her the popcorn flavored jelly bean and her facial expression, when she bit into it, was the funniest thing I'd ever seen.
I love popcorn.
