"Petreaus has resigned and said some interesting things" Yeah, you actually did put his resignation under a list of things the president is apparently responsible for.

This Benghazi shit is amusing. Grasping at straws.

No I didn't. Just stating what happened. What you infer is what you infer.

where is your righteous indignation and where is your blame on obama for him allowing israel to commit war crimes in gaza??

obama is a war criminal for allowing this to happen. but the people who hate obama for other reasons are for some reason applauding him for his inaction on the gaza situation.

    fucking disgusting....

  • OK HERE WE GO!!!!!!!!!!

In Obama'a Defense: There are alot of people who would like to obstruct him in many ways. This will happen no matter who is president. Sure there are some racists out there that would like to take him out cause he's black. There are people who will go out of their way to deconstruct the office while Obama is in there. He is a good family man and represents us well from a global perspective. Many nations and people from around the world see us in a different way now. More people from around the world see us positively now. This is all a good news. America's potential image has hit a unique opportunity during these troubling times. One thing is America was so strong at one point that our strength, will and resolve continues on in pockets around the globe in cases of charity, aid, diplomacy, civil wars, etc. Many nations are more willing to deal with us because of their perception of Obama and America now.

My advice for Obama is to enhance his leadership skills and change his tone. He is too divisive and needs to embrace the opposition.....not polarize it! That is leadership!

My critique of the President: Obama's founding fathers, or role models of influence are VERY questionable. Do we really know who our President is? I think we should have vetted him more before voting for him. If everyone knew his past and his friends and his relationships, a majority of this nation would not have voted for him. I believe that Obama believes he is doing the right thing, however, I am pretty sure he is not experienced enough in economics or business to succeed at leading a nation such as ours. I think Obama would be a great President in many nations around the world, however not in ours. Our nation needs a pro-American leader, with a postive tone, to limit the size of our govt's role in personal and economical affairs. "The govt is not the solution, it is the problem" when trying to revive our economy. He is the wrong president at the wrong time. Obamacare will de-humanize the whole experience of recieving care, as if the experience is not bad enough already. It will be costly in monetary terms and social terms. It will be deadly to our economy. Jobs will pay less and the dollar will be worth much less. Inflation is a definite and hyper-inflation certainly could happen within 4 years. The facts are the facts and the truth is the truth, the debt will be 22-24 trillion in 4 years and the platform for the next president will be almost impossible to revive. We are too big to bail out, our depression would be 50 times worse than Greece! There is not much any other country can do to bail us out. We would have to fix ourselves and part of that would involve selling off our national parks, land, resources, etc. Unemployment norms now will be %8-14. We will not see %7 or lower in this next term. Obama is a divider....not a uniter, which was my biggest letdown this past 4 years.
I also believe that Obama had a unique opportunity to bridge the divides in this country and he blew it! I could have done 50 times better if I were the first dark skinned president. I guess that would come with mentality that I have built up over time, whereas Obama's deep belief system involves freezing the enemy, personalize it, polarize it! These tactics he taught and they make up the fabric of Obama! His fabric is not one of uniting color, gender, class, creed! Big problems will be a result of this division!

My advice: Mr. President, I know you have learned alot about your country over the past 4 years, would you please take it all in and show more pride in it. Can you accept our exceptional nature as everlasting and unique from other countries. Can you express that we are strong and have a unique responsiblity? Also, take what you have learned and forget some of your old tactics, and try to do whats right! Please try to balance the budget rather than print money and please can you try to create jobs from nothing. We have a capability to create wealth from nothing. We also can produce jobs that actually need the position filled! Mr. President, just because you can speak well and deliver it well, does not mean you are a good president. It is your executive powers and experience, and what you do with that power that makes you a good president!

I am in a hurry to get to church now...gotta go!
    God bless this great nation!

  • thank you aerial! its easy to be constructive. I wish our President would be more open to building bridges of bi-partisanship....not real bridges with union jobs and taxpayer dollars.

I also believe that we should keep a hawk eye on Obama regarding a few things:

    1. 2nd Ammendment and right to bear arms. Look at treaties and moves that sign away our sovereignty.

    2. Patriot Act and other policies that give the govt. power to spy, intrude, capture or kill innocent Americans

    3. Using the media in his favor to mislead the public and shape the publics opinions

    4. Energy pursuit....will we pursue our resources?

    5. Business ....will he build walls between money and ideas....or give entrepreneurs an open lane?

    6. Israel....he gives them the right to defend themselves....so all you anti-s out there....lol

    7. budget...spending! Will he cut spending and balance the budget?

We will see his true colors and performance now....just make sure you pay close attn!

This shit just gets better and better. If I didn't know better, I'd think you guys are Colbert. I mean, you can't be that much of a stereotype, can you?

Uh,, you know that "Obama" was the black one and "Romney" was the alien that looked like the white guy, right?

What type of response is this? You quote "I'd think you guys are Colbert." You say plural "guys" and compare to singular "Colbert". I dont even understand what you mean here!

You say stereotype. Where and when and how was there a stereotype?

Also, what shit are you speaking of? How does it get better and better?

    1. You mean the right to arm bears?
    2. Good luck with that one.
    3. People are only misled when they aren't well read.
    4. You mean will we exhaust our natural resources rather than learn to live with less and use renewable? Probably, but don't blame that one man. Besides, at least Obama believes in climate science.
    5. The president is one man. He doesn't run business, business runs business.
    6. Incomplete/vague sentence.
    7. Don't worry. Again, it's not all up to one man to do this either way.

OK. And Mitt Romney believes that after he dies, he will go back to Kolob where he'll be assigned his own planet to rule like Jesus did.

So we voted for the lesser of the lunatics.

    WIN!

I guess. Although haven't you also complained about "political correct" bullshit?

The point is that you made an issue about his skin and then 2 posts later said that you didn't even notice. Clearly you do.

To the rest of your bizarre, meandering post... saying the president didn't unite people is like saying "you won the game, but now play by the rules we make." He won the majority of voters and is one of only FOUR presidents in US history to do so.

Your claims about how the economy is going to be 50 times worse than Greece are absurd, so are your comments about how Obamacare will "de-humanize" health care. That's just nonsense.

  • None of my post is about Fear except for my name! All of my post here on this particular thread is about awareness and preparedness. I am a small business entrepreneur and I will continue to push forward in a positive way without blaming anyone for anything! I do not let my politics interfere with my business and I dont let anything bring me down. I will be positive until the world is on fire and even then, I will praise God in the shadow of Death!

My points are all made for us to watch....not obstruct.

Obama certainly can lead on the budget, considering he has not put out a budget yet in 4 years! WOW

He certainly will show his colors this next four years! These thoughts are to keep us aware...not in FEAR

Let me tell you all....if Romney won the election, I would watch everything he did, all his spending and his leadership! I would also have been the first to call him out on things, in a fair way that was not demeaning!

  • Oh boy. Probably shouldn't post. :?
A week ago, I had sensed this forum wanted to move forward—together like.
So, I asked if anyone wanted to participate in a mini-poll experiment. 6 responded. I was thinking about begining it tomorrow night with the easiest, most common denominator topic that I believe ALL Americans could surely agree to rid ourselves of: Super PAC's buying our democracy.

So tonight, after a beautiful weekend I sit down and "Obama Timeline" looks interesting so I check in here. I see it's a thread that began before the election, now updated, with main objective: does anyone want to participate in keeping an Obama report card thru the next four years.

Here's what I notice; few posts say yah or nay, there are misgivings of intention, but mostly—we all seem keyed-up still, like the election isn't yet over. So here's my question; do you think it's a bit premature yet to ask us to move forward—together? And if so, how long would you estimate?
P.s. of course we will score Obama's 2nd term and if I stay on here, I'd be glad to participate in grading his report card.
However, so long as this mass remains so divided, ALL presidents simply use this as a means to drop the ball in one court (brians enviormental concerns comes to mind) and blame any campagn pledge not delivered—on a hamstrung senate. In turn, the senate defers the blame to us; "they pledged to do just and so and so they must."
Sorry, I can't help myself. A political forum just lends itself for preaching unity. nite.

Do you consider yourself a Christian? Just wondering.

What does "put out" a budget mean?" Again, just wondering.

Do you know the date of the End of Days? I want to be sure I have my gold secured and stockpiled. It might come in handy.

What exactly are you preparing for or being aware of and what should we be aware of and preparing for? Please explain.

What "colors" might Obama show us in the next 4 years? I expect that he'll still be black at the end of his term. Have you ever heard the song "Chocolate City" by Parliment Funkadelic? If not, YouTube it, its pretty hip.

What kind of smnall business do you own? And why isn't it a "BIG" business? Are you unable to grow it yourself or do you need the "problem" of government to help you?

Obama studied and taught Alyinski tactics and if you read them, he is them! Its proof in the pudding bud!

OK. And Mitt Romney believes that after he dies, he will go back to Kolob where he'll be assigned his own planet to rule like Jesus did.

So we voted for the lesser of the lunatics.

    WIN!

jesus ruled a planet??? what planet we talking about here?
    hear my name

    this could be the day

    lie beside me
    i just need to say

Theres no time like the present

A man that stands for nothing....will fall for anything!

All people need to do more on every level!

Oh boy.

A political forum just lends itself for preaching unity. nite.

Good points. My intent with the thread is just to document what HAS happened. If people want to debate it I can't stop it. I just look forward in 4 years looking back through the thread and seeing what ACTUALLY happened over this time period. Hopefully it's a lot of good.
